Story
Luna is very high energy and loves to run and run. She is great with my kids other than she does get very excited when we first get home and she jumps still trying to break her of this also is a little bit older and she digs holes to go under the fence, we love her however, we do not have the time due to a new job and going to school and she is in a crate a lot and she shouldn’t be due to how much energy she has. We are looking for a single person that is willing to take her on and has a yard for her to run.

Story
Freddy is my sweet sweet baby. We saved him with intention to fostered him in 2021. I picked him up from a boarded up junkyard when he was about 4 months old. His parents were there- a Siberian husky and American bulldog- they watched us leave. It was heartbreaking. My husband and I are military part time and federal employees full time. Between being gone on military orders and traveling for work; Freddy is just not as happy as he deserves. We don’t crate Freddy although he is crate trained. He has free range of the house and never messes with anything and doesn’t have accidents unless he is sick. Freddy doesn’t bark, he has a cough- although he has accidentally barked before and scared himself. He is very smart, definitely a runner. One time he ran away into someone else’s house and fell asleep in someone else’s bed. Cops were called to clear the house as the family thought someone was drunk and broke in due to the snoring but it was just Freddy- sleepy boy.

I unfortunately have a very demanding job and poor Titus is stuck in his crate for far too long every day im looking to find him a good home where he will be loved and well taken care of.

Story
Hi! My name is Judge. I was surrendered to the shelter with my brother Jacoby by a backyard breeder at only 5 weeks old. I’m getting to be a big boy now and am ready to find my family. I am a typical puppy and don’t have an off switch. I can get very vocal but it's just because I have so much to say! I love to explore and get into things. I have had a great start at socialization and am very brave in new experiences. My favorite past time is digging holes and climbing on things. I am crate trained and am working very hard on learning my commands. I'm good at sharing my toys and even do good with the cat! My new family must understand my needs and what it will take to make me a happy, well adjusted adult. Daily vigorous exercise, and exposure to new things is a must. I'm going to be a big boy. Right now I’m all legs and ears, but that won’t last long. I am still young and working very hard my house training (so I may still have accidents). ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 5/28/2024 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Required CATS: Yes CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $350 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. IF YOU ARE GOING ON VACATION OR ARE NOT YET READY TO PROCEED PLEASE APPLY WHEN YOU ARE.*** INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER INQUIRY/CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you will not receive a response. PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
