Hello! My name is Lia!I`m a fun and energetic girl who loves to play with my toys and run around in the snow! I would do well in a home that is active and likes to do dog-friendly activities so I can tag along and show all your cool friends how awesome I am! I can be jumpy and mouthy but as long as you have a toy for me to chomp on, I`m good to go!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Yes, older and mature. I’m exuberant so may knock over little ones!OTHER DOGS: YES, a home with a playful dog would be preferred to set me up for success!CATS: Not recommended given my exuberance.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: Potentially, if you have some experience with energetic breeds and have a strong interest in training.FENCED-IN YARD: Highly recommended given my energy level.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Homes with yard preferred.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily, though being alone for a full work day is not ideal in the beginning especially.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: High.HOUSE-TRAINED: Almost! With some patience and consistency, I will be on track in no time!If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!

Story
Konjo is a 1-year-old Husky who is waiting for his new home. He is an active boy who loves to play and has that typical Husky personality. Konjo is learning to walk on leash and would do well with an Easy Walk no pull harness. He loves other dogs and would do great with a companion to burn some energy with. Konjo does need a bit more training on his manners and sometimes jumps up over excited, so he is best suited in a home with no small children. A fenced in yard is best for any high energy dog, so he is hopeful his new family has one. Konjo loves people and dogs he is a really friendly boy who is waiting here at the Haven for his new family. Siberian huskies are classic northern dogs. They are intelligent but somewhat independent and stubborn. They thrive on human company, but need firm, positive training. They are bred to run and their love of running may overcome their love for their guardians at times, so a fully fenced yard is a must! Konjo is vaccinated, microchipped and is neutered. Story
Adele / Spayed Female / 1.5 Year old / 50 pounds / Dogs: Yes / Cats: No / Kids: Yes / Adele, or “Delly” as her foster affectionately calls her, is a 1.5-year-old Northern Mix from our friends at Northern Reach Network. When Adele first arrived, she was a scared, anxious, and underweight dog, having already been through the hardship of having a litter of puppies. Since then, she’s blossomed into a playful, affectionate, and sweet dog who is eager to bond with her people. Adele absolutely loves other dogs and would do well with a more mature dog to help her burn off energy and guide her as she continues to build her confidence. This super smart, curious, and adventurous girl is full of love. She’s especially fond of toys—particularly stuffies that she enjoys “wrecking”—as well as chewing on sticks and figuring out her Kong. Adele is also a cuddle bug who loves belly rubs and pets. She’s becoming more playful every day and is increasingly confident in new situations. She has a cute, high-pitched yawn that’s earned her the nickname “kettle,” and her need for affection is matched only by her eagerness to please. Adele would thrive in an active home where she’s kept physically and mentally stimulated. She would prefer someone home more often than not to keep her company and offer her the attention she craves. Due to her past experiences, she needs an experienced, patient owner who can provide her with the time and care she needs to continue to grow into the confident, happy dog she’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who’s ready to love and bring joy into your home, Adele might just be the perfect fit! Adele is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is currently fostered in Pickering. Apply to adopt! https://forms.gle/B9bqj6MQ9kYrNRxB7

Story
Sasha / Spayed Female / 3-4 Years / Husky Mix / 48lbs / Dogs: Yes / Cats: Yes / Kids: Yes / Location: Markham 📍 Meet Sasha, a sweet and gentle soul who is finally recovered and ready to find her forever family! 🐾 Sasha came to us through another rescue after traveling all the way from Manitoba with her 5 puppies. While her babies have already found their homes, it’s now Sasha’s turn to find the perfect family. 💕 Sasha is around 3-4 years old and is a beautiful husky mix from northern Manitoba. Sasha loves her walks and is great on leash, though she can get a bit excited when she spots a squirrel! 🐿️ She also enjoys playing in the snow and spending her downtime relaxing near her humans. Whether it’s laying around with her foster dog brother or at your feet while you work, Sasha is content to be by your side. She’s a little shy at first, but with patience, she opens up and becomes a loving companion. Sasha can be timid around new people, but once she feels comfortable, she’ll greet you with a wagging tail. Despite her occasional anxiety, she’s a laid-back and good-natured dog. She’s also good with other dogs and cats, mostly ignoring them. 🐶🐱 Sasha is low energy for a husky, and after a bit of adjustment, she’s the perfect companion. She’s already potty trained, sleeps peacefully through the night, and is just looking for that special someone to love and care for her forever. Sasha is ready to be your loyal, sweet girl! 💖 If you’re looking for a gentle and loving dog to add to your family, Sasha might just be your perfect match. Apply today and make her part of your family! Sasha has been spayed and microchipped. She is up to date on vaccines. She is being fostered in Markham.
