Story
Name: Zoey Breed: Husky/GSD mix Weight: 45 pounds Gender: Female  Spayed/neutered: yes  Age: approx 1.5 years Obtained From: Social Media site  Reason for Intake: Current caregivers have a small, senior dog with congestive heart failure and need to focus on him.  Zoey needs far more exercise and attention than she's getting now. Up to Date with Vetting: Just spayed and had her first round of vaccines as no prior history of vetting. Good with dogs: Yes.  Living with a senior Chihuahua and is good with him.  They are separated when the caregivers are not home as Zoey doesn't always know when to stop asking to play.  Some greetings with strange dogs on leash have gone well and others have resulted in grumbles. Good with cats: Unknown.  Interested in chasing critters on leash. Good with kids: No experience with babies or toddlers.  Has been good meeting kids 6+ years on walks. Good with strangers: Yes.  She does not bark when a stranger comes to the door.  She is friendly and will go up and greet them.  She may jump up on people she knows well. Resource guarding issues: None seen from people or the other dog. Ever bitten a human: No Ever bitten a dog: No Fears: none noted Housetrained: No accidents in the past 2 weeks.  She was not getting out regularly in her prior home so needed help with house training. Crate trained: She was apparently crated for long hours in the previous home.   Good in the car: Yes Bark when left alone: She did bark when they first started leaving her alone.  She is not barking when left now.  She is left about 3.5 hours at a time.  They go home from work midday and take her for a walk. Destructive: She will get into the garbage and counter surf if given the opportunity. Energy Level: Medium to high Leash skills: They are walking her on a martingale.  She is getting better at walking nicely on leash.  She may want to chase critters like squirrels. Okay with physical handling/manipulations: They have bathed her and she was good.  A groomer did her nails.  She did not enjoy it but they were able to get them done. Known commands: sit, come, stay, lay down, off Food on now: National kibble.  1.5 cups  2x/day . Behavioural issues: She may need a brush up on housetraining in a new home.  She can jump fences 3 feet high and possibly higher. Medical issues: None Nice girl, good with dogs, someone who will provide her with the time, commitment and love she deserves.  Lovely natured  July 15, 2024, 8:52 am

Story
Meet Dreamwalker Bradley! Are you searching for a dog who walks dreamily on leash? If so, then Bradley is your boy! Bradley likes people very much, and makes friends with other dogs fairly easily. This boy is fully house trained and crate trained with excellent recall. Bradley is neutered, vaccinated and very healthy. He loves, loves, loves his walks! And loves receiving praise and rewards for all the wonderful things he does with gusto! Bradley's Wishlist: Bradley is looking for a home in either a suburban setting or somewhere in the country. A home without young children (12 and up is fine). Someone who either works from home, is retired or work alternate schedules to ensure that Bradley isn't left alone for hours at a time. (A reputable dog walker would be an alternative). A home with or without another balanced dog. A family who will give Bradley plenty of walks, mental and physical activity, and positive stimulation. Someone dedicated to continuing Bradley's education using force-free methods. *We offer training and counselling support through our Doggytime Canine Education Course~Pup Parent System with all adoptions. Story
Hi, my name is Frost, Male - NeuteredSiberian Husky MixApprox. 3 years oldI'm a Teacher's Pet in the best way possible! I've got the whole package - smart, fuzzy, four legs, love to learn and live to please. Go ahead, teach me anything. Sit, stay, balance your checkbook, I'll do it all. Keep me entertained and I'll be yours forever. My reactions to: Dogs - I've enjoyed the companion of the other furry canines at the shelter. In a FUR-ever home, I would love another furry dog friend to play around and be a goofball withCats - As I can be eager to meet new things and very playful, I'd prefer a slow calm introduction to new kittiesMeeting New People - If you have treats, I will be your best friend, I hope you don't mind kissesChildren - I haven't interacted with many children, if they don't mind a slobbery kiss or sharing some treats, I'll be happy as can beObedience Training - I've shown great progress in training, I'm always eager to learn and love showing off my skills/tricksLeash Walking - I can display excitement and eagerness on my leash. I would benefit from some extra attention, like everyone says practice makes perfect!Car Rides - I don't have much experience on car rides though given my loyal personality I'll be ready to go anywhere by your sideCrates/My Kennel - I am still adjusting to my kennel though I've shown great improvement entering/exiting with ease. Though I'd much rather be out playing with youHouse Trained - I do my best to hold my business until I am able to relieve myself outside Primary Color: White Weight: 22.001 Age: 3yrs 1mths 0wks
