Story
Name: Zoey Breed: Husky/GSD mix Weight: 45 pounds Gender: Female  Spayed/neutered: yes  Age: approx 1.5 years Obtained From: Social Media site  Reason for Intake: Current caregivers have a small, senior dog with congestive heart failure and need to focus on him.  Zoey needs far more exercise and attention than she's getting now. Up to Date with Vetting: Just spayed and had her first round of vaccines as no prior history of vetting. Good with dogs: Yes.  Living with a senior Chihuahua and is good with him.  They are separated when the caregivers are not home as Zoey doesn't always know when to stop asking to play.  Some greetings with strange dogs on leash have gone well and others have resulted in grumbles. Good with cats: Unknown.  Interested in chasing critters on leash. Good with kids: No experience with babies or toddlers.  Has been good meeting kids 6+ years on walks. Good with strangers: Yes.  She does not bark when a stranger comes to the door.  She is friendly and will go up and greet them.  She may jump up on people she knows well. Resource guarding issues: None seen from people or the other dog. Ever bitten a human: No Ever bitten a dog: No Fears: none noted Housetrained: No accidents in the past 2 weeks.  She was not getting out regularly in her prior home so needed help with house training. Crate trained: She was apparently crated for long hours in the previous home.   Good in the car: Yes Bark when left alone: She did bark when they first started leaving her alone.  She is not barking when left now.  She is left about 3.5 hours at a time.  They go home from work midday and take her for a walk. Destructive: She will get into the garbage and counter surf if given the opportunity. Energy Level: Medium to high Leash skills: They are walking her on a martingale.  She is getting better at walking nicely on leash.  She may want to chase critters like squirrels. Okay with physical handling/manipulations: They have bathed her and she was good.  A groomer did her nails.  She did not enjoy it but they were able to get them done. Known commands: sit, come, stay, lay down, off Food on now: National kibble.  1.5 cups  2x/day . Behavioural issues: She may need a brush up on housetraining in a new home.  She can jump fences 3 feet high and possibly higher. Medical issues: None Nice girl, good with dogs, someone who will provide her with the time, commitment and love she deserves.  Lovely natured  August 20, 2024, 9:00 am

Story
Meet Buttons, she is about 7 months old and around 20 pounds. We don't expect her to get much bigger. Buttons was found in a garbage dump in Northern Alberta. She was found with a bad laceration around her ankle that is currently on the mend. Despite her beginnings, she adjusted extremely well to living in a home. Buttons loves living with a family and can't get enough attention from the kids and other dogs she lives with. She is very smart and very receptive to learning. She sleeps well in her crate and keeps it clean and is quiet in the home. She has absolutely zero aggressive tendencies even around food which is amazing because she knows what hunger feels like. Buttons isn't a fancy dog, and her breed is unknown, but she gets top dog status for her amazing personality. She can quickly go from playful and bouncing to a Velcro lap dog. She adjusts her energy level to the crowd she is with which is an amazing quality for a young dog to have.  She is good with cats.  Buttons isn't completely housebroken but very close to it; she is super smart and learning quickly from her dog friends. She needs a fenced yard as her leash skills are still a work in progress.  Another pet would be good for her; she is used to having dogs around and is also enjoying cats. If you are interested in a young. smart. and sweet new friend ask about Buttons. August 20, 2024, 9:00 am

Story
Juneau is a spunky lady who doesn’t act her age at all! She’s bouncy, active, and will be very vocal when she wants your attention. She truly has the cutest “aawwwoo”. It melts our hearts every time we hear it! Her beautiful blue eyes draw everyone in. Juneau is so friendly and gentle with all people, especially small children. Unfortunately, Juneau was surrendered to us after her furry sibling passed away. She became quite anxious and was having accidents in the house, so her family did not want her anymore. Juneau was extremely underweight when she came to us, and is now slowly gaining weight. Juneau is looking for a family who is home often as she has separation anxiety and will cry if left alone for long periods of time. Her family will need to be patient and be willing to work on her house training and accidents. She would do best in a home with no other dogs or cats.

Story
I'm Narang, a 6-year-old Jindo Chow mix with a heart full of love. I was rescued just in time from a shelter in Iksan Si where I was sadly facing euthanasia. I adore people so much that I might bark a bit when I first meet someone new, but it's just my way of saying hello. In no time, I'll be nudging you for pets and cuddles. I'm polite with other dogs; I'll say hello, but I'm not much of a rough player. If another dog barks, I might get a bit excited, so I prefer a calm atmosphere. Food, though, I don't mind sharing at all, whether it's with humans or furry friends. During walks, I might pull on the leash a bit, but I'm generally good at following your lead. I'm currently recovering from heartworm treatment, so occasional diarrhea is part of my healing process. However, I'm a good eater and prefer doing my business outside. I dream of finding a forever home where I can be the center of someone's world. If you're looking for a loving companion who craves your affection and is ready to share a lifetime of joy, I'm your girl. Let's make memories together! Adopt me, and let's start our journey of love and happiness. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3Jzj_0ZnVvkvGDkBXoz2jVy1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H40gvTvIdsc&list=PLIsLTtIpe3Jzj_0ZnVvkvGDkBXoz2jVy1&index=4 https://youtu.be/H40gvTvIdsc?si=RsAUfxedNW1lXidc https://youtu.be/F4ec8oStfa8?si=OjuCqoVAgFVeFy8x https://youtu.be/HsilthM_ef0?si=reHSkb851kMpBHKt
