Hooper was found on 3/11/25 at Oak Patch Rd & W 18th Ave. He came into the shelter not yet neutered. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Pangur is a very sweet 3-year-old pit bull husky. She is being rehomed because her previous owner has passed. She is a very active dog who likes regular walks and runs. She is a great hiking dog. She is a very loyal girl who loves her family, and she loves to cuddle on the couch. She will need a dedicated owner who loves dogs, as she is fear reactive and has separation anxiety. She is not suited for homes with cats, children, or other dogs as she can be very rambunctious and exhibit resource guarding. She has a bite on her record. She is about 50 pounds and healthy other than irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), which is easily managed, and she has all her shots up to date. She is potty and crate trained. Resources such as a crate, food, treats, toys, and bedding can all be provided as desired as well as a small contribution toward care.

Story
Meet Prince – Your Loyal and Adventurous Companion Prince is a stunning 3-year-old Siberian Husky with a heart as big as his beautiful coat. This resilient boy was found as a stray, already neutered and microchipped, but sadly, his owner never came forward. When rescued, Prince’s fur was so severely matted that it required removal under anesthesia, revealing painful sores underneath. Now fully healed, Prince is ready to leave his past behind and find the loving forever home he deserves. True to his breed, Prince is a spirited and adventurous pup who loves to explore. While he enjoys outdoor time, his ability to climb fences means he needs a home with supervised outdoor activities or a family committed to taking him on walks and adventures. He rides like a dream in the car, making him a perfect partner for road trips or weekend getaways. Indoors, Prince is an affectionate and loving companion who adores snuggling up with his people. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a great addition to a home with canine siblings. Though he’s still working on his potty training, Prince is eager to please and will thrive with consistency and patience. If you’re searching for a loyal, playful, and adventurous friend who will shower you with affection, Prince might just be the perfect match. With his resilient spirit and loving nature, he’s ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love, care, and endless adventures. Could Prince be the missing piece of your family? Prince is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX but can be transported out of state. Adoption fee is $250 in Texas, $550 out of state to cover the health certificate and transport costs.

Adoption fee: $150.00Weight: 72.8lbsArrival Date: 11/22/24Microchip #: 941010002284719Hi! I’m Monte and I’m a Husky! And just in case you couldn’t tell by my face that I’m a Husky, I’ll sing you the song of my Husky people, because I’m a Husky. I like treats and longs walks and to be brushed and to be petted and to chill out with you while we watch a movie while we share popcorn & laugh at the same corny line and later when we hear that line in public, we’ll look at each other with raised eyebrows and then we’ll giggle and people will say “What’s so funny?” and you’ll say, “Oh, you wouldn’t get it. You had to be there”. But they weren’t there, because I’m your best friend and a Husky. My mom was probably a Husky. Are you looking to have a Husky in your life? I’m a Husky! I’m also a really awesome dog.If you would like to meet Monte please email fostercare@safehavenhumane.com as he is currently in a loving foster home!

Story
Hey! I`m Kaido! I`m a young guy that is still learning how to play and interact with those around me. I`d love someone that can go to puppy classes with me and teach me some boundaries and manners. I can be shy at first, but warm up to you after a few meets. Because I`m unsure of people still, I would probably do best in an adult household. I haven`t really been on a leash before, but that just means we can take lots of walks to practice! I love to chase toys and run around the yard, but I`m still learning how to play. Maybe we can find a good toy to play with together? I`ve also met some other dogs, but I should definitely meet any dogs that might be in the home with you. Because I like to chase, I have a prey drive that might make living with cats difficult. If you think you could want a fun, loving puppy to train and go hiking with, sign me up!

These pups are in Eugene, Oregon too!
