Katana would make an amazing family dog, or a great companion dog to someone looking for long walks and big smiles. The cutest thing about Katana is the way she sits, with her paws politely tucked underneath her, that signature silly Husky sit. We think Katana is a Husky maybe-mix, but we’re leaning totally Husky. She is a rescue so her exact age and breed cannot be guaranteed. She’s currently estimated to be around 2 years old, and she weighs in at 47 pounds. She is currently fostered in a home where children regularly visit. She’s gentle, patient and sweet with them, and doesn’t mind rough pets or invasive touches. She communicates well with other dogs, and has patience with them. She preferred spending time with more mellow dogs here at the rescue, but tolerated pushy pups well. We think she would love to live in a home with a medium to low energy doggy sibling to keep her company. Katana is good on leash, and friendly with everyone she meets- taking this girl hiking or park-hanging will be a breeze. Katana is also a pro in the car and loads up on her own! Katana asks us to include that she absolutely loves booty scritches. She’s an affectionate girl and loves to be pet. She gives adorable tiny kisses too! Katana will let you know she needs some love by rubbing her head against your leg, it’s too cute. This precious fluffy girl is ready to come home with you! Meet Eliza Fluff! This tiny girl is almost 11 pounds, 2.5 months old, and we think she may be a German Shepherd/Husky mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! No one is immune to this fluffy girl's cuddly charm - she loves to be held and snuggled, and will roll over for chest scratches and belly rubs at the drop of a hat. Maddie was found on 1/7/25 at 18th and Chambers St. It is unknown at this time if she is spayed. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time.The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs.
