Story
*Due to kennel space Judge is currently not in our adoption area, due to this he will be shown to those with approved applications at this time.**Judge is a handsome guy that can be aloof at first. He loves getting treats! He does know sit and shake, in fact he will shake with either of his paws! Judge will need someone that has husky experience and will need a home that does not have cats as he does not like them. Judge may be too much for small children so a home with older children would be best. Judge loves to go on walks and loves to run in the play yard! True to his breed Judge can be on the stubborn side at times. He is vocal at times, so apartment living may not be the thing for him. Judge would love to find his loving forever home soon! He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/Lyme tested, and microchipped since his arrival at the shelter. Story
Carolina was rescued from a kill shelter, she was very skinny, frightened and had painful eyes due to intropian (her eyelashes were turned in and irritating/scratching her eyes) which caused her constant pain for her entire life. Her eyes have been repaired but one is still irritating her and may need another surgery to repair it again. Otherwise she is very healthy, very active, she is looking for an active person who loves to run, hike, travel, be outdoors to play ball with her - she loves to play with other larger-breed dogs with proper introductions. She is very friendly with people. She is very young and needs some training! She is an awesome dog for an active person or family with children over 10. Not good with cats or small animals.

Story
🖤SHILOH🐾 Gentle, handsome, senior husky 🐕 After years of neglect, he’s safe in rescue & getting the care he deserves. We were told that he formally belonged to a neighbor who used to keep him on a chain and never let him in. But recently he had let him go and said he did not want him anymore. Probably because, Shiloh had a tumor growing on his underside and he did not want to be responsible. He has finished his antibiotics and steroids, and the tumor has been removed. The good news is …. It isn’t cancerous!!! And his heart and lungs, and all other x-rays were clear 🖤 True to his breed, he is vocal and full of adorable personality. He greets every human with a soft “awoooo” and lots of cuteness😍 Good with other dogs, but doesn’t need any in his forever home. He’s a bit of a loner. 🤣 In search of a yard to sunbathe in, snacks & pets from people that love him, and the opportunity to live out his golden years how he deserves 💕 If you’re interested in adopting a settled, senior boy, please consider welcoming Shiloh into your home! Story
NOKI IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE ADOPTED! Husky lovers meet Noki! He is a very energetic, extremely happy, heartworm negative boy who is looking for his forever home. Last October, a good Samaritan was notified of a dog that had been dumped on a backroad and needed help. This good Samaritan took him in to begin his new chapter of his life. He went straight to the bath (which he did amazing in). It's very obvious whoever had him before was not kind to him like his new foster. He wouldn't walk into a room if he saw a man standing there. He didn't seem to know much about being inside or even how to be a dog for that matter. His foster would give him a bone, and he would just rub his face on it; she would turn on the tv, and he would run and hide behind the couch. He wanted so bad to be around people, but he didn't understand how to go about it. Fast forward to 6 months later, Noki has completely transformed! Yes, he still has some ways to go, but he is a totally different dog than the one found dumped on a backroad last year. He has never met a dog that he didn't like. He isn't picky either about his dog friends; they can be bigger or smaller as long as they want to play with him! He's still learning how to walk politely on the leash; he tends to pull out of pure excitement of seeing all the new sites! We are still working on crate training as well. Being a husky, he is very vocal at times, especially if he doesn't agree with the situation. He goes in the crate politely, and he will quiet down after a bit, but he will sure let you know he feels about it for a bit. All of that said, as soon as he sees you coming to get him, he gets so excited waiting for his next adventure with you. Please consider opening up your home to this goofy, loving, and resilient dog who is just searching for a place to finally call home.  Noki is completely vetted and ready for adoption! He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and current on prevention. His adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to PA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Noki up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Noki here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
Meet Koda! Koda originally came to us in January 2023 after she was found as a stray and she was not getting along with the finder's dogs. In the ten months that Koda has been with us, we have seen both the good and bad with her. While we are happy to adopt her out to the right home we would still be open to a rescue taking her into their care so she can continue to work on her behaviors. Koda is very picky about the people she befriends and lets into her space and is available to be visited by those with approved applications only. The kennel environment is stressful for many dogs and unfortunately amplified some of the negatives in Koda's behaviors. While in the kennel or when she is insecure in her environment Koda will guard items that she considers of high-value. In the shelter we have seen that in the form of her toys and her food/water bowls. She does not display these behaviors with staff she has bonded herself to or, generally, when she is away from the other dogs and not in the kennel. Due to these behaviors, any potential adopters will need to have previous experience owning dogs and may be required to visit with Koda more than once before taking her home! Koda cannot go to a home with other dogs, cats or kids. When Koda is comfortable with you, she is a gem of a pup! She LOVES to give kisses and will hop up for hugs and an ear scratch. This two-year-old pup is a huge fan of treats and is always ready for a snack! Koda knows 'sit' and 'leave it' currently. She is an extremely toy and food motivated pup and would love to learn more in her forever home! Her previous adopters did state that she was house-broken and generally a very well-behaved dog outside of her not getting along with their dog. Koda has done fantastic riding in the car for staff and also walks nicely on leash. Stuffed toys or anything that squeaks are her preferred toys to play with while in the yard or hanging out with staff. Koda also enjoys playing in water and would love to go to a home that will give her plenty of outdoor adventures! Staff knows that with the right home and people, Koda will make a fantastic dog! Koda is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
