Noel is 3 yrs old she is spayed vaccinated rides well in a vehicle, crate trained. She is smart and playful. She cannot be around small animals of any kind. Noel would be better around older children. Shes very curious about them seems to have a high prey drive. Loves to be outside on pretty days but needs to be watched as she digs when bored. She needs a family that is active. That will play with her, have patience with her. She is very loving and willing to please.  Must have a fully fenced yard. Would help if you have experience with husky breed. Shes a gorgeous, dog.  Amazingly she barley sheds. I believe she could be a little wolf hybrid her fur is different than your typical husky and very soft beautiful markings and colors. She does great with groomers as well. She comes with a extra-large crate this is a special order $ 400 crate that's her bed. I will let go with her for $ 200.  Her rehoming adoption fee is $ 325 covering all her vetting. She is also on all preventions including heart Guard monthly. Ivy is 2 yrs old she is spayed, vaccinated, on preventions including heart Guard monthly. She is crate trained comes with her crate that was special order xtra large it was $ 400 will let go with her, it's her bed for $ 200. Her rehoming fee covering her vetting is $ 350 she is a very sweet loving dog. She does better in a quiet household she is very timid and uncertain of things easily spooked. She walks well on a leash. Rides well in a car. Would do better in a home with older children must have a fenced yard and would be great to have experience with huskies.  She needs a safe loving secured home. Hi, I'm Echo!! I'm a strikingly handsome guy, about 6 years old and truth be told I do have a bit of a silly side with my close friends. I'm even game for a bit of a pool party on a hot summer day! I've been here at the Ark for few years now because you see I do have a few peculiarities that make it a bit challenging to find the perfect home for me. I have boundaries so I tend to guard things and I take a while to get to know and trust new people. Even though I can be a bit of a handful, I'm not mean natured and just love a good head scratch and belly rub from my friends! The perfect home for me would be one that I could have it all to myself and my adult people, no kids or cats please! As much as I do love the Ark and how great they care for me, I really do want to have a home of my own. I just need a family that is experienced with special dogs like me and I promise I'll work hard to prove just how fabulous I am!! *The Adoption fee for Echo is reduced/covered by adoption sponsorship donations When I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, the most guesses were that I'm a Husky / Catahoula mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!! Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.October 28, 2024, 10:42 am

Meet Leo! Leo has been DNA tested and we know that he is a Siberian Husky/Great Pyrenees/Mountain Cur mix. He has a beautiful soft golden coat with golden brown eyes. Leo is a very sweet boy who loves to be with his humans, but he is leery of men until he gets to know them. He does overcome this fear with the help of treats and patience. Next thing you know, he will be your best friend. At the shelter, Leo was known as the play yard rockstar because he gets along so well with other dogs. He knows several commands, such as "sit, "down, "shake, and "leave it". Leo will need a 6 foot privacy fenced backyard and a playful canine companion in his new home. Leo can't wait to meet you!
