Meet Niko! He's a ball of energy, always on the move, exploring his surroundings with a curious and playful nature. His goofiness will have you laughing in no time, and his loyalty will touch your heart. He's a smart boy, housebroken and crate trained. He's had experience living with older children, and his friendly demeanor makes him a great family pet. He may be too much energy for younger children and may knock them down in his excitement, so we recommend older only. He can also get a little anxious in the car. His intelligence and energy are sure to bring life and laughter into any home and he's more than ready to meet his forever family! If you're interested in meeting Niko, come to the shelter today!

Story
Meet Atlas! This guy is always ready for his next adventure, loving to do anything outdoors! He loves meeting new people, but smaller children may overwhelm him, so he will do best in a home with older children, who know how to properly interact with dogs. He does have a pray drive, so he will do best in a home where he is the only animal, or with a dog that is a similar size. He loves to snuggle up with his people, getting treats, butt scratches and going for car rides! If you think Atlas might be the boy for you, stop by the shelter and fill out an application to meet him, or fill out an application online!

Meet Leo! Leo has been DNA tested and we know that he is a Siberian Husky/Great Pyrenees/Mountain Cur mix. He has a beautiful soft golden coat with golden brown eyes. Leo is a very sweet boy who loves to be with his humans, but he is leery of men until he gets to know them. He does overcome this fear with the help of treats and patience. Next thing you know, he will be your best friend. At the shelter, Leo was known as the play yard rockstar because he gets along so well with other dogs. He knows several commands, such as "sit, "down, "shake, and "leave it". Leo will need a 6 foot privacy fenced backyard and a playful canine companion in his new home. Leo can't wait to meet you!

Story
Likely on of the mama's of the husky mixes, very sweet, calmer than most. Escape artist! For potential adopters, she's most likely going to want to be a free-roamer at home after acclimation and some manners are taught! Currently "Pre-adoptable," or eligible for "Foster-to-Adopt" while she awaits her spay appointment. You can still take her home! updated 12/26/24

Story
Butterball Turkey could stand to lose a few pounds - we think she may be hiding an actual turkey under all that fluff! She's very excitable, curious & ADORES PEOPLE, but she's not overly energetic. There's A LOT to love (literally) about this silly turkey! Butterball loves her walkies (not too shabby on a leash, either) and because she's a husky, she sure does LOVE the snow! Picture this: a fun-packed afternoon of sledding, a morning of shoveling snow (she could probably help with that!) or going for a wintery hike and then snuggling up in front of a nice, cozy fire - that's Butterball's dream! She's likely potty-trained given her age, but like many shelter dogs, she'll likely need a bit of patience once she blows this pop stand. She knows at least "sit" on command...Butterball was surrendered because she likes chickens....a little too much, and therefore we can't recommend a forever home with cats or readily available poultry snacks, BUT we think she's probably good with other pups given a proper intro. Kids are a total unknown, but are likely ok! Looking for a tubby husky with lots of life and love left to give? You've found her 🌟Butterball qualifies under our SENIORS FOR SENIORS program: Seniors 65+ may apply to adopt Senior Dogs ages 8+ for a $70 adoption fee (typically $175)🌟 updated 1/15/25
