Story
Sadie Brulee is a bundle of fun, excitable energy who is looking for a family to guide her through the world. She loves people of all ages and is always ready for affection... and treats! Sadie Bru loves to stretch her legs on long walks or while running at top speed in the playfield. Catch her kicking off a round of howls in the kennel or alerting you to other wildlife while on a walk (from squirrels and deer to birds and falling leaves). She loves the snow and will make an amazing companion. This girl has a personality you can’t help but fall in love with! The best kind of home for Sadie Brulee: Sadie will need a home with a family willing to guide her through the world. She can be timid in new spaces and always alert to her surroundings. After you fall for this gal, our knowledgeable behavior team can help guide potential adopters to a successful life with Sadie Brulee. She prefers a slow, patient introduction to new dogs and has not been tested with cats. She has been around children and does well with them, however, adopters should be aware of some mouthiness before taking her home with small children. Sadie is fully house trained and keeps a very clean space, never destroying toys or bedding.

Story
Kimber is an 8 year old Shepherd/Husky mix. She was rescued by me when she was only a puppy. She is crate trained, current on shots, micro chipped and lifetime registered. She lived for many years in a home with other dogs and did well. She loves attention and at 8 years old still enjoys walks/playtime. I am unfortunately forced to get rid of her due to circumstances in my personal life.

Story
Fitz is a goofy, playful guy who is looking for a home where he can be active! He loves going for long sniffy walks and playing tug. While in foster, Fitz has been learning very basic skills like walking nicely on a leash and coming when called. Fitz can be timid with strangers in a home setting. This is something his fosters are working through and finding the best way to manage for a future adopter. With a proper introduciton, Fitz warms up in no time! He settles very well in a crate and is motivated by both food and toys! The best kind of home for Fitz:  Fitz is looking for a home where he can be active on a regular basis. He needs regular exercise and playtime to be fulfilled, but that time with him is so rewarding! Any adopter for Fitz will receive three free training sessions from Mountain Mutts LLC to continue his training and help set him up for success. They will teach adopters his favorite games and how to make life with Fitz as rewarding as possible every day.

Story
Piper was running as a stray in a local area for several weeks. She was skinny and dragging a lead strap from her collar the whole time. No one was able to get close to her. One day someone was able to catch her and bring her into us. She was very scared at first but is now warming up to us more and more each day. Her stray hold is up and she is now spayed and up to date. She would love to find a forever home soon! Adoption fee is $150

Story
SUNNY NEEDS A HOME!  (courtesy post - if you are interested, use the contact info at the end of this post)  From Sunny's current caretaker:   "Sunny boy and his mother, the German Shepherd named Reagan, came to us through a neighbor who is no longer able to care for them due to illness. I have fostered hundreds of dogs and I can say categorically that Sunny boy is one my absolute favorites. He is about two years old. His father was a traveling salesman of the husky variety and his mother is a purebred German Shepherd. He is so funny and so fun loving that I envision him going to an active family because he is so friendly and loves to play. I think he would also do great traveling around because he loves to meet people. He’s definitely a showstopper and everyone remarks on how handsome he is. He seems to get along good with our dogs and we’ve seen no aggression from him. He is now in foster care with us, and is currently staying in the large pen with his mom Reagan. Two of my older dogs are aggressive, and I don’t want to expose the foster dogs to them. This big boy is such a sad sack when he’s not getting love. He wants nothing more than to sit by your feet run around and play and be adored. Won’t you consider bringing him into your family? You won’t regret it. Sunny Boy is a neutered male and will be up-to-date on all vaccinations and heartworm testing. Please contact Lindy at (304)646-5051 or at Greenspiritwv@frontier.comNovember 14, 2024, 6:28 pm
