Story
Meet Fenway. Fenway is a very loving, loyal and cuddly dog. Fenway is approximately 7 years old and we have had him for five years. Unfortunately we can not give Fenway the time and attention that he needs due to busy schedules and kids sports/dance. Fenway is house trained but will have an occasional accident inside of left alone for a long period of time(over 8 hours) Fenway does have anxiety and runs in circles barking if someone is leaving. He is currently on anxiety meds which has seemed to help quite a bit. Other than that he loves to play with his toys, cuddle, and follow you throughout the house. As soon as you walk through the front door he comes running with a huge smile excited to see you! We hate to see him go but want the best for him and we can no longer provide that. Fenway is up to date on all shots and comes with his bed, toys, bowls etc.

Story
Meet Bunny! This adorable little lady is about 1.5-2 years old and looks like a bully-breed type mix. Muscular and compact, she tips the scales at 34lbs. Maybe we're biased, but we think she's the perfect size pup!An absolute delight of a dog, Bunny's a true testament on how resilient animals are. Prior to being rescued, her previous guardian not only attempted (and failed) to cut off her ears but also neglected her physically and emotionally. Upon entering foster, she knew nothing and was scared of virtually everything. With time, patience, and lots of treats she's grown leaps and bounds and is ready for her next chapter. In her foster home Bunny is crate trained, house trained, and knows how to walk on leash. She's been living with five other dogs who she enjoys the company of, along with four cats who she's convinced cannot be trusted. She'd be happy with a dog sibling or two but isn't a good candidate for feline friendly homes. Initially nervous with new people, she is best suited for homes with teenagers and older. In her spare time she can usually be found tossing toys to herself, chewing on Benebones, patrolling the yard for squirrels, or cuddling with one of her foster moms. Bunny would love a home with a fenced in yard in a quieter setting; she is not a good candidate for city life. Her fosters share: "Bunny is the funniest, cutest, most entertaining dog. She loves toys, running around looking for squirrels in the yard, and most of all, food. But she didn't start out that way. Bunny came to us in tough shape emotionally and took time to trust us and adapt to indoor life. Thankfully, she's one of the most food motivated dogs we've fostered and because of that is a quick study. It didn't take long for her to fall into our routine and begin coming to us for affection. She is definitely still a timid dog and takes time to warm up to strangers, but once comfortable really blossoms into a stellar little pup. We'd love to see her in a home with people who appreciate quirky dogs, a canine sibling, and a fenced yard. Whoever is fortunate enough to adopt Bunny will be bringing home a ray of sunshine!"She is available for adoption in Hopkinton by appointment with an approved adopter. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Meet Mowgli! Mowgli is not your average pup; he's a bundle of energy and love waiting to find his forever home. This charming Jack Russell Terrier and Blue Heeler mix is 3 years old, weighs a sturdy 40 pounds, and hails from the vibrant city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mowgli is on a quest to find a family that matches his zest for life. One look at Mowgli's profile, and it's clear that this guy is all about playtime. His eyes light up at the sight of his beloved Kong toy, and his enthusiasm knows no bounds when it comes to chew toys, squeaky toys, fetch, and a good old-fashioned game of chase. You'll never have a dull moment with Mowgli around! Mowgli's dream home is one where he can run freely, burn off that boundless energy, and receive the attention he craves. He's looking for a family that can commit to spending quality time with him and providing plenty of exercise. Whether it's a romp in the yard or a long walk in the park, Mowgli is ready for the adventure. In terms of health, Mowgli is up-to-date on all his shots, neutered, microchipped, and fully potty trained. However, his high energy levels have led him to be prescribed anti-anxiety medication, which helps him stay calm and relaxed. It's a small adjustment for the love and companionship he'll bring to your life. Mowgli may be searching far and wide for his perfect home, but one thing is certain: he's ready to give his heart to a loving family. If you have the space, time, and energy to match Mowgli's enthusiasm, he could be the loyal companion you've been looking for. So, whether you're in Philadelphia or beyond, consider opening your heart and home to Mowgli's boundless spirit. He's ready to embark on the adventure of a lifetime with you! Also, Mowgli is open to a long-distance adoption—love knows no distance when finding your perfect companion!

Story
Priscilla5 Months OldSpayed FemaleMeet Priscilla! This young lady can be a little shy at first when meeting new people, but blossoms into a social butterfly after getting to know you. She could benefit from having a quieter-traffic home and a family that can work at her pace as she first settles in. As Priscilla gets more confident, she’ll be sure to show you all her favorite toys! Priscilla could do well with a confident, tolerant dog friend who can help show her the ropes, a dog-savvy cat with a slow introduction, and children! If you think you are a good fit and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm – no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they’re interested in - and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
