Story
Meet Scooter Booter! He is currently 5 months old, and we think he may be a Jack Russel/Chihuahua mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Scooter's video here: This tiny boy is the complete puppy package! Scooter Booter is playful and so entertaining to watch - we love his puppy antics, watching him fearlessly investigate everything and everyone on his adorably short little legs. (Also - have you seen those amazing adorable ears?!) According to Scooter, everyone he meets is his new best friend, and we love his amazing personality and joyful spirit. Perhaps best of all - Scooter loves to spread that joy with kisses - lots and lots of kisses! His tongue may be small, but it is fast, and can cover a surprisingly large surface area, lol. Scooter loves soft stuffies and squeaky toys, and is still very much a puppy, so he will play, play, play, then crash out wherever he is for a quick nap. This tiny boy is definitely is living the best puppy life - eat, nap, play, repeat - all he needs now is YOU! Scooter is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/675af109ca301f0ba8004c0d Please email Kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1600.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Meet Bowie Floppy Eared Frecklemuffin! He is currently 3.5 months old, and we think he may be a Jack Russell Terrier/Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Bowie's video here: Hold on to your heart, because Bowie Floppy Eared Frecklemuffin is here to steal it! This adorable black and white boy will definitely turn heads because his markings are just that stunning. Bowie's white just pops in the sun and his floppy black ears and black freckles all over are the perfect contrast. This sweetheart on a red blanket is the stuff of supermodels! And the larger black spots on his bum? Perfection! Don't even get us started on that adorable freckled belly - it's perfect for lots and lots of belly rubs. But it's Bowie's calm and mellow personality that is the true star of the show here. This handsome fellow is curious and cautious of all things at first, but warms up with a few toys and treats (plus snuggles and kisses, lol). Bowie will attach quickly - he follows his foster mum around the house and has already earned the title of 'Professional Sock Thief', which makes all of us smile. Bowie Floppy Eared Frecklemuffin is currently in a loving and experienced foster home with several other dogs of all sizes and a cat, and this adorable boy gets along well with all of them! His foster family say that he is doing well in his crate, and we can't wait to see what else this smart cookie learns. Bowie is currently living the classic puppy life of eat, play, sleep, repeat - all he needs right now is YOU! Bowie is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. Story
Hello, my name is Snowball.  I’m 5 year old female terrier mix. I’m a medium sized dog weighing approx. 22lbs. My foster mom says I’m a sweetheart, and love showing off my goof side. I’m always up for a walk, car ride or snuggle on the couch. I enjoy my foster mom’s small dog, and would do well with friendly partner. No experience with cats. I can get anxious and bark when meeting new people or when left alone, but settle quickly with reassurance. I would do best in a single family dwelling with a fenced yard to roam. I’m still learning not to jump on people. Will need regular grooming. Veterinary checked, spayed, microchipped, house trained and up to date on immunizations. If your interested I meeting this cutie, please fill out a statement of interest at: https://alternativehumanesociety.com ##2251058##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.**Meet Beau** Beau is a stunning Jack Russell-Papillon mix, affectionately known as a Papi-Jack. At 5 years old, he is a loving and loyal boy who, despite his initial shyness, quickly blossoms into a delightful companion. His joy upon seeing his human is heartwarming; he can hardly contain himself, constantly seeking love and affection. Beau is ready to give his whole heart to someone who will love him forever. Beau thrives best in a woman-only home since he is used to living in an all-female environment and does not do well with men. He needs a yard for sunbathing and potty breaks. While he prefers to have 1-2 dog friends to socialize with, he can also do well as the only dog. He requires an adult-only home, as he does not like children or grandchildren, which can frighten him and might lead to biting. This fear arises from his shyness and tendency to be startled by sudden movements or loud noises. Although he prefers women, with patience and proper socialization, he can become friendly with a man in the home if there is one. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion who wants to be by your side everywhere, is super playful, and enjoys having a buddy dog close by, Beau is your guy! He has a medium-long, soft, and silky fur coat that requires regular grooming to maintain its quality. Beau takes pride in being clean and enjoys being brushed, receiving attention, and getting hugs. He is housebroken and has learned to use a pee pad as a backup if needed. Beau is intelligent and forms a strong bond with his special person. He acts as a watchdog when you have company, so he will need a quiet place to retreat if unfamiliar guests are visiting. He prefers to be around only 1-2 people and becomes a lap dog, hugger, and kisser once he feels secure with his humans. He gets along well with all small dogs he has met and enjoys playing with older lab puppies introduced to him. Due to his Jack Russell heritage, Beau has a strong prey drive and needs to live in a small, animal-free home. Therefore, no cats, mice, reptiles, or rodent-like pets are allowed. How To Adopt Beau   Please use the link below to apply. One of our volunteers will review the application and call to follow up with questions, answer yours, and see if you are a match for this pup.  The next step is a meet and greet if a match can be made. Please use a computer, as tablets and cell phones will drop the application. Beau has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate his adopters on proper diet and nutrition for his and his new buddies. To apply to adopt Beau, he has a $595.00  adoption fee.  All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link.  Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we can get to know you and make the best match.      https ://rompinpawsrescue.com Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 25, 2025, 1:29 pm
