Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.**Meet Beau** Beau is a stunning Jack Russell-Papillon mix, affectionately known as a Papi-Jack. At 5 years old, he is a loving and loyal boy who, despite his initial shyness, quickly blossoms into a delightful companion. His joy upon seeing his human is heartwarming; he can hardly contain himself, constantly seeking love and affection. Beau is ready to give his whole heart to someone who will love him forever. Beau thrives best in a woman-only home since he is used to living in an all-female environment and does not do well with men. He needs a yard for sunbathing and potty breaks. While he prefers to have 1-2 dog friends to socialize with, he can also do well as the only dog. He requires an adult-only home, as he does not like children or grandchildren, which can frighten him and might lead to biting. This fear arises from his shyness and tendency to be startled by sudden movements or loud noises. Although he prefers women, with patience and proper socialization, he can become friendly with a man in the home if there is one. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion who wants to be by your side everywhere, is super playful, and enjoys having a buddy dog close by, Beau is your guy! He has a medium-long, soft, and silky fur coat that requires regular grooming to maintain its quality. Beau takes pride in being clean and enjoys being brushed, receiving attention, and getting hugs. He is housebroken and has learned to use a pee pad as a backup if needed. Beau is intelligent and forms a strong bond with his special person. He acts as a watchdog when you have company, so he will need a quiet place to retreat if unfamiliar guests visit. He prefers to be around only 1-2 people and becomes a lap dog, hugger, and kisser once he feels secure with his humans. He gets along well with all the small dogs he has met and enjoys playing with older lab puppies introduced to him. Due to his Jack Russell heritage, Beau has a strong prey drive and needs to live in a small, animal-free home. Therefore, no cats, mice, reptiles, or rodent-like pets are allowed. How to Adopt Beau: Please use the link below to apply. One of our volunteers will review your application, follow up with any questions, answer yours, and see if you are a good match for this pup. The next step, crucial in the adoption process, is a meet and greet if a match is made. This is your opportunity to meet Beau and see if you both connect. Please use a computer, as tablets and cell phones may cause issues with the application. Beau has transitioned to a human-grade diet, avoiding kibble in favor of a healthy, canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate his adopters on the proper diet and nutrition for him and his new buddies. To adopt Beau, there is a $495.00 adoption fee. All funds will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link and be thorough in your answers. Expand whenever possible so we can get to know you and make the best match.  https ://rompinpawsrescue .com Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 12, 2025, 9:06 pm

Story
Jack is a jack russell terrier mix. He is the perfect small dog at just about 10lbs. He is approximately 7 years old. Jack is a very sweet dog. He is quick to greet you and loves giving and receiving attention. He has great energy without being over the top. He was my grandfather's dog in his final days, when he passed away my mother adopted him. She sadly now has Alzheimer's and can no longer take care of Jack the way he needs. He is not necessarily well trained but is also not aggressive, overall he is very sweet. He is friendly and likes to bark. He does have a lot of the traits you would expect a small dog to have, e.g. can scare easily but in general he’s pretty simple. He sleeps a lot during the day and doesn’t require a ton of exercise. He is looking for a loving new home.

Story
Meet Gia Rose! She is currently 4 months old, 11 lbs, and we think she may be a Jack Russell Terrier / Chihuahua mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Gia's video here: https://youtu.be/IqkFZzrhF1Y Gia is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. She loves to play with all of her siblings and then take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat - such is puppy life! Gia is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67ae2cf300302dedae048015 Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1,200.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

I’m always up for a walk, run or snuggle time on the couch. I can get anxious and bark when meeting new people or when left alone, but settle quickly with reassurance. Needs a home with no other pets or kids, and a fenced yard to roam. Will need regular grooming. Veterinary checked, spayed, microchipped, house trained and up to date on immunizations.
