Story
Bob was living in a shelter in Salem, Indiana before he came to Sketchy Mutts. He now lives in a foster home and is adjusting very well to the comforts of home! Bob is quite the lap dog (he thinks) and enjoys monitoring dinner time very closely for any dropped food or taste tests. Bob has met the resident cats but they are still unsure about him. Perhaps due to his largeness? But his foster mom assures, Bob just wants to be friends. At the end of the day, he’s the first one to bed every night and we think that means he's happy out of the shelter. Let's get him his own forever home, okay? Apply to meet this gentle giant today! *Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy *Please visit website for how to adopt: https://sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org/adopt *Please note that we do not operate on a first come first served basis.

Story
Hiya! My name is Dario! I’m around 4 years old and 67 lbs. I was really scared and a little shy when I first arrived as a stray here - all my friends have been helping me work on my confidence though, so I now warm up rather quickly! I’m still working on my manners for treat taking, so an open hand will be better! My friends are helping me learn all my manners here and I’m doing a great job at learning! I have been living the shelter life since October, so I am finding myself stressed now. I’m an energetic guy, who loves to run and play! I sometimes jump up for attention, but I do know sit, and I’m quite perfect at it! I still have some puppy-like play in me as well! I’d really just love a home that will take me for walks or have a nice yard to run and play in to burn the energy away! I have been dog tested here and might do well with a tolerant dog friend and slow introductions. So, if I sound like I could be your perfect match, come meet me!This animal is staying in a foster home and is not at the shelter. Please fill out the adoption application and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up an appointment to meet the animal.**Please apply on our website at www.indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. Go to the website, click on the adoption application link, enter the information and hit submit. Once you have submitted your application please visit the shelter to speak with a member of our adoption staff. You can include multiple animals you are interested in on one application. Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our FABULOUS PETS! We hope to see you soon,The IACS Adoptions Team.
