Story
I got Patron from a certified breeder in Mebane NC in 2020. He is a friendly and energetic dog, he knows the commands, sit and paw (he gives you his left paw and then his right paw). Patron is a big boy, he’s smart, he loves attention, he’s playful and loves food, he can’t get enough of it. Patron needs someone who is willing to pamper him, take him for walks, keep up with his vaccines, give him treats and most important a safe and loving home. Patron is a wonderful dog.

Story
Oh Ricky, you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, Hey Ricky!! Once you meet this guy, you're mind will be blown for sure! This retriever perhaps Boxer mix weighs about 48 lbs full grown. Ricky is a wiggly, happy young adult retriever mix ready to find his forever. He does great on a leash and makes friends quickly in his play groups. He is a confident boy that likes learning new things and LOVES people! Ricky would likely do best in a home with another dog as he experiences some worries about where his people are going when they leave and would prefer a buddy keep him company no matter what. Ricky is eager to please and is winning the hearts of everyone he meets. Get your adoption request in right away and let him wiggle his way into yours. **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "I had the pleasure of hiking with handsome Ricky! He was fantastic. Got a long with all the other dogs, loved getting treats and walked well on the leash". " When he was at the front of the pack he did not pull at all and there was plenty of slack in the leash. Ricky did not mind any passing cars and was comfortable walking past them. Ricky also loves to give hugs and to get all of the pets. He leans up against your legs as much has he can to take in all of the love! Ricky also loves to give kisses! *Weekend Host Feedback: "Ricky is a big lovebug that wants to be with his family as much as possible. He loves snuggling and playing. He makes a great reading companion and adores sitting next to you on the couch. He loves to play and walk, though his leash manners could use a brushing up. He's potty trained for the most part and got along well with our two other dogs. He was great with our older kids and is a people dog. Ricky is adjusting to the crate, though he wouldn't say no to snuggling in bed with you. If you are looking a loveable yet high energy cuddle bug, you've found him!" *Recent Host Feedback: "Ricky is a super sweet boy who loves attention. He has progressed quite favorably on the leash. Ricky pull a little bit but getting better with each walk. In addition, he is respectful of other dogs and people who he encounters on the walks. He is potty trained as he had had zero accidents during his stay! While not a huge fan of the crate during the day, he sleeps very well in his crate at night. He is quite the lover and wants to cuddle. He tends to be better with teenage kids and adults vs younger kids. He also played well with our other dog who is equal in size." * "He is quite the lover and wants to cuddle. He tends to be better with teenage kids and adults vs younger kids. He also played well with our other dog who is equal in size". ** Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "Ricky was very sweet with everyone around.  Not that interested in the other dogs, but loved a good treat and pet from anyone who would offer".

He's a sweet, gentle and energetic bundle of puppiness". *Weekend Host feedback: "He enjoys hikes and playing in the leaves and he is the BEST snuggle buddy for late night movies. Also found out he loves balls and he does well in the car. So happy I got to host Adam this weekend, He was a blast"! Recent Weekend Host Feedback: "Adam was great this weekend! He is honestly a great indoor dog. He didn’t bark at all this weekend and he will whine at the front door when he needs to use the bathroom. He has a very calm yet fun personality. He is great if you want a snuggle buddy while watching movies and also a great dog to take hiking. He doesn’t pull much while on a leash but he can walk zig zagged from time to time but other than that he did awesome! We also noticed he loves people, he wanted to greet every one he saw this weekend."

She fit in nicely with the group and got along well with all.  Sigrid very much appreciated treats during her hike and was happy to show that appreciation with big sloppy kisses". **Based on our walk, Sigrid seems to be a medium energy dog- she kept a quick pace on the front end of the hike but was happy to hang towards the back of the group and walked with a loose leash for the last mile". **Sigrid is a total love bug. She responds very well to other dogs and to people, including children. She loves treats and affection and likes to show what a good girl she is. She loves water for both drinking and for play. She is gentle and has such a fun personality.
