Story
I got Patron from a certified breeder in Mebane NC in 2020. He is a friendly and energetic dog, he knows the commands, sit and paw (he gives you his left paw and then his right paw). Patron is a big boy, he’s smart, he loves attention, he’s playful and loves food, he can’t get enough of it. Patron needs someone who is willing to pamper him, take him for walks, keep up with his vaccines, give him treats and most important a safe and loving home. Patron is a wonderful dog.

Story
Hi, I’m Sonia, a charming and affectionate four-year-old girl born on Valentine’s Day! With a sleek black coat and a striking white blaze on my chest, I’m smart, eager to please, and highly motivated by food and praise, making training enjoyable for me. My favorite activities include exploring the woods, running off energy, and then napping. I also love treats and toys, and I’m generally easy to please. At home, I’m calm, quiet, and well-behaved, often napping or watching for squirrels from the sofa. While I may bark at strangers and can be anxious around some people, I warm up quickly and show my affectionate side. I’m known to be “dog-reactive,” meaning I’m not the best with other dogs, but I do have a couple of canine friends. Cats are not a good match for me, as I prefer to steer clear of them. I’m looking for a loving and stable home that can provide attention and training to build my confidence. I promise to share my love and enjoy soft ear rubs. Could you be my forever family?

Story
Hello! My name is Buckley! I came into the shelter as an owner surrender due to unfortunate personal circumstances. My owner loved me dearly and left a detailed note about me for my future family. I am reported to be cautious and timid with new situations though very affectionate with people once I get comfortable. My previous owner said I did well with cats and dogs though I lack confidence so dogs may scare me initially. It is always recommended to do slow introductions with other animals to ensure the best outcome. Thanks for considering adopting me!
