Scallywag is hoping to break out of the rescue soon. He requires an adult only home. He is a 3 year old, male, Labradoodle. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered. Please share! 💙🐶🐾 PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO STRINGENT OUT OF STATE HEALTH CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS WE ARE NOW ONLY ADOPTING TO RHODE ISLAND RESIDENTS*. We apologize for the inconvenience. HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: 1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and full out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. 2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. 3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.

Hey Y'all, Grady here. Since I first met you, I have grown HUGE. I fit the category of "Gentle Giant" and "Ninja". I have also been called a horse. But, whatever you want to call me, sweet & kind fits best. January 16, 2024 I turned 1 year old. My foster mom said I weigh 110 lbs. There is nothing more that I love than kisses on my nose and head, scratches, hugs, swiping something from right under your nose, hanging out in my crate, hanging out at your feet, squishing myself into small areas (close to you) for a nap. I love playing in the sprinkler, playing chase with my fur-siblings here in foster care. I am dog social, love my people (nervous at first with new people but warm up quickly), house trained, crate trained, car rides. My mom is a Mountain Cur and dad a Labradoodle. All of my siblings have been adopted. For some reason I am still here. It is not a bad place, actually quite fun. I love the cold weather (we had snow this year).  My ideal furever family would love to snuggle, have patience, go hiking, camping, play in the water (sprinklers are perfect), go for car rides, and go to the beach. I have heard all about it. I think that is for me.

Must live close in to RI This supports all rescue dogs for vetting, foods and whatever they need. We are all volunteers. OUR PROCEDURE: We will choose the dog's possible family as soon as we see a match. We will phone you and further discuss . The dog will be in Rhode Island for a meet and greet. Please realize, it is our goal to get the dogs into the right homes as soon as possible and no shows are not good for the dogs and other serious dog families. GWEN is an 8 month, 45 lb., old fully vetted, healthy, sweet, gentle and spayed female labradoodle with soft hair that does not appear to shed. She does great with all people and children too, though she would benefit with some basic training of course. We think her original owner was overwhelmed with too many dogs and puppies and dumped them all when she couldn't find homes for them in Arkansas because she ended up in a shelter nearby our foster. The shelter was full and was going to euthanize for space when we committed to take her into our rescue. Gwen deserves a wonderful home here in Rhode Island, hopefully with a family who will enjoy taking her out hiking, running, to the woods, and making her their BEST PAL! GWEN IS ONE TERRIFIC DOG. Tell us why you are the right person for her. She will be in RI for meetings on Aug. 31 for invited personal meet and greets. These meetings will be set up immediately as applications arrived that meet the needs of Gwen. If you can provide a FABULOUS home please file our free application (see link above) and tell us why we should let you adopt our wonderful rescue. The more you tell us the better picture we have of the home you can provide for our rescue Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do save applications, but you may put multiple names on one application. If you have already applied in the past, then please send us a message with your name and what dog you are now interested in being considered for and we will pull off the server. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted. Max is a 3 year old fun loving full of energy labradoodle. He loves to run and play ball. His favorite toy is any ball and will keep him occupied for hours. He is used to a fenced in yard where he can run free. He is young so he does have a lot of energy and loves to play. He is great with other dogs. Loves going to dog parks. He is around 70 lbs and has lived with a teenager his whole life. We got him from Amish country in upper state New York. He loves to cuddle and loves to give kisses.

  adoption donation : $699 weight 10 lbs  Age: 12 weeks as of 7/17       Meet the Brady Bunch puppies! Five boys and five girls, Marcia, Jan, Cindy, Carol, Alice and the boys, Greg, Peter, Bobby, Mike, and Sam (remember, Alice the housekeeper‘s boyfriend?)   The Bradys are darling lab and husky mix puppies. Dad was a full lab and Mom a husky mix, both of the parents were 55 to 60 pounds and we expect these puppies to be around the same although Greg and Bobby are the biggest and fluffiest of the pups.     Cindy Brady is a sweet and friendly girl, her sister Marcia is shy but Cindy is full of personality! She loves to play with her siblings. The puppies are having a grand time in their foster home in Mississippi, running and romping together and snuggling into a great big puppy pile to nap. The puppies have had vaccinations, but will be spayed and neutered when they are older. Wags will pay for the procedure at one of the clinics that we use in the northeast or reimburse adopters what we pay if they choose to use their own vet.    Please note that Wags of Monroe county is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Wags desperately need to raise funds to help the sick and older dogs at the rescue. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue.
