Story
MEET JC! Hi there! My name is JC, and I am a sweet little lady looking for a warm and loving home in my golden years. At 10 years old, I am a super senior, which means I am over 7 years old, but I have a lot of love and companionship left to give. My previous owner had to move into a nursing home and can no longer take care of me. Despite my age, I still have plenty of energy. I am a gentle and quiet dog who wants to be loved. I enjoy lounging on the couch and receiving belly rubs just as much as I love going for walks and exploring the outdoors. I am very smart and have learned how to sit, stay, and come when called. My previous owner says I am good with other dogs, but I prefer to be the only dog in the household so I can have all the love and attention to myself. I am a bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly to people once I get to know them. My ideal home would be a quiet and low-stress environment where I can relax and enjoy my golden years in peace. If you are interested in learning more, please fill out our online pre-adoption application with the JC's name in the subject line: [Pre-Adoption Application] https://gloryboundrr.dm.networkforgood.com/forms/pre-adoption-application As part of our adoption process: - We ask all interested parties to fill out this form. - Once we have reviewed your application, we will contact you to discuss the next steps in our adoption process. Turnaround time is typically 1-3 days. - Our goal is to ensure you and your new pet are a great match! - We do our best to assume the breeds of our dogs. The dog adoption fee is $300.00. Cash or virtual payment only. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN ADOPTING FROM US! - If you would like to learn more about Glory Bound Rescue, please visit our website and follow us on social media: Website: [www.gloryboundrr.org] www.gloryboundrr.org Facebook: [Glory Bound Rescue Ranch] https://www.facebook.com/gloryboundrescueranch Instagram: [@glory.boundrr] https://www.instagram.com/glory.boundrr/ *Disclaimer: The organization reserves the right to reject any and all pre-adoption applications in the best interest of our animals. Story
Meet Mazzy! Age: Adult Breed: Labrador Good with: kids and dogs Housebroken: Yes Special needs: Calmer home/dogs due to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Hey everybody, my name is Mazzy, and I'm the most special gal! I'm a young adult now, and I've found myself looking for my forever home. You might notice that I have a lot of extra skin, and that makes me extra beautiful! It also might add a pound or two to my 42-pound frame because pictures make me look a little lighter than I actually am. Let me tell you, that extra skin is a bit more susceptible to scratches compared to a normal dog's skin because I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Luckily, it doesn’t affect my joints, and I have no need for special medicines – or special food either. I just need to make sure I don't play too rough with my fur friends, that's all! I get along well with other dogs of all sizes, but the calmer, the better, so they don't jump on me or scratch me. I do fabulously with children of all ages, and really enjoy being around them! I learned to trust and love most all humans really, but big crowds and busy new places can be overstimulating for me. I like to alert you to any strange noises I hear or of new people coming into the home, so I might not do super great with living in an apartment building where there might be a lot of extra noise. I’m really good at going potty outside – and have learned to let you know I need to go by standing near the door and giving a little whine. I love going on walks, and I do quite well, though why do some of those trucks need to be so big and loud? I'm not sure how well I would do with kitties. Foster mom says I'm so, so smart and love to learn. I also love car rides and my toys - I can keep myself entertained! I promise to make you laugh with my silly antics and zoomies I get. Now I'm ready for my ride-or-die bestie to play by day and snuggle by night with! *Mazzy is being fostered in Edgerton, WI.
