Medical records will be provided. He is getting neutered on 7/26/24. He is a rescue that came to our home on 7/5/24 early that morning. He is not interested in guarding your home😄he is a very loving dog, listens well when you tell him no 😊 A veterinarian has suggested his age at 3 yrs. old. He loves everybody including children. He will let us reach into his food bowl while eating. Is currently being trained to tolerate cats. He could be trained to. He has no problem that we have seen getting along with dogs. We are looking for a forever loving home.

Story
We took Vader in from a family member who couldn’t take care of him. We are not sure of his age but according to the vet he seems to be a little over 1 year old. Our schedules are very busy and he ends up being in his crate most of the day. He would thrive with an owner who could work on training him and taking him on walks or hikes. He gets along well with other dogs and small children. Unfortunately we aren’t able to give him the home he needs and deserves. He’s such a sweet fun boy who needs love, attention, and exercise!

Story
Jada is just the sweetest girl! This beautiful dog showed up at our shelter in February 2019 as a stray. While we hoped someone would come looking for her, no one ever did. At Jada's intake exam, we sadly discovered that she was heartworm positive and would require treatment. Jada has been undergoing the "slow kill" method of treatment for over a year while learning a lot in our FIDO prison program. She hopes to be heartworm free very soon. Jada does have some bladder issues and needs a daily medication to help with it. She can be a little shy meeting new people and takes some time to warm up, so because of this she would be best in a home without small children. Jada can picky with her canine friends and prefers a home without cats. This gorgeous gal is hoping that her new family will come soon and show her what it's like to be a valued family pet!Jada is a member of our FIDO prison program. FIDO dogs are obedience trained and socialized by the prison inmates. The $250 adoption fee covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, de-worming, microchip, and heart worm test (and current with monthly preventative). They are house trained, crate trained, and know their 5 basic commands. If interested in meeting a FIDO dog, please fill out an application online at: inapl.org/adoption-application. Once it's processed, a member of our team will be contact with you.JadaLabrador Retriever mixFemaleDOB: 3/4/2014Weight: 64 lbs.Heartworm Positive

Story
DJ has just the cutest white muzzle! This happy go-lucky guy is hopeful that his new family will be applying for him soon. DJ is an energetic 10 year old Labrador Retriever mix that loves to zoom around and chase toys. Since he has quite a bit of energy, he will require a fenced in yard in his forever home. DJ can be a bit picky with his canine friends and will also need a kitty free home. DJ would be absolutely thrilled if he could be one and only furbaby in your life. He has always dreamed of being an only child! DJ is a member of our FIDO prison program. FIDO dogs are obedience trained and socialized by the prison inmates.
