Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Chase was adopted through love of labs in 2019, he has been a great dog through the years and is full of love and wants/loves attention. He is currently 7 years old with no health concerns at this time. He is larger, so a small house or yard may not be great for him, but he usually is worn out after about a 30 minute walk. He has had a history of dog aggression when paired with our younger female Chocolate lab (with other dogs, not our lab). I am unfortunately moving to a location that is not able to accommodate his size due to landlord requirements, and would love to find an active and loving home for Chase to be most successful.

Story
Tuck`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - Passed his cat test!Kids - Best suited for a home with grown-ups onlyMeet Tuck, a sweet and gentle two-year-old pup with a beautiful, Reese`s cup-colored coat that makes him as unique as he is adorable. Tuck is looking for a fresh start and a patient, loving home where he can feel safe and grow in confidence.Tuck’s past has made him a little shy and nervous, especially in new environments and around unfamiliar people. Loud noises, sudden movements, and crowded spaces can overwhelm him, so he’ll need a calm, predictable home where he can adjust at his own pace. His lack of confidence may take time to overcome, and his fearful behaviors will require patience and understanding during his lifelong adjustment process.Tuck would thrive in a quiet home with only adults, where he can be gently introduced to new people and experiences. He’s lived with other dogs before but needs slow introductions to any new canine friends. With kindness, patience, and a calm environment, Tuck has the potential to blossom into a loving and loyal companion. He’s a sweet boy with so much heart, just waiting for the right person to give him the space and time he needs. If you’re ready to help Tuck become the confident, happy dog he deserves to be, come meet him today. This gentle soul is worth the wait, and with your love, he can truly thrive.-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. Story
*Marley`s adoption fee is sponsored and comes with a customized training package from Paws & Play Dog Resort & Training Center!*Marley`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - NoKids - Yes, 14+Marley, a sweet senior boy, has been cherished his entire life. His family loved him dearly, but due to unfortunate circumstances, they were displaced and had to make the heartbreaking decision to bring him to the shelter. Now, Marley is hoping to find a new home where he can feel safe and loved again.Marley may be 9 years old, but he’s still got plenty of pep in his step! He lives for long walks and can go for several miles without missing a beat. Afterward, he’s all about soaking up some sunshine, enjoying belly rubs, and settling in for a leisurely nap in his comfy bed.Since moving into foster care, Marley’s goofy side has started to shine! He’s a certified cuddle pro who will patiently sit at your feet for pets, a big fan of toys (especially the squeaky kind), and a stylish gentleman who rocks a bow tie like no other. He’s also highly food-motivated—offer him a little deli meat, and he’ll be your best friend.Marley is housebroken, crate-trained (though he’s not thrilled about going in at first), and incredibly smart. He knows sit, come, down, paw, and stay. While he’s easygoing in many ways, he has some opinions—he’ll let you know what he thinks about other dogs on walks with a good bark, and he’s not a fan of people running too close to him.Marley wouldn’t mind being your one and only, but he’s also open to meeting other dogs to see if they’re a good fit. He’d thrive in a calm home with kids 14 and up and would love nothing more than a family who will shower him with love, long walks, and a steady supply of squeaky toys.Ready to bring this lovable, bow-tie-wearing gentleman home? Marley is waiting to meet you!-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test, vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. Story
Nado`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - UnknownKids - No little ones, please—he’s looking for a home with an 18+ guest listMeet Nado! This young, high-energy pup is smart, eager to learn, and ready to take on the world with his future family. He recently completed a two-week stay & train at Paws and Play, where he worked on his leash skills, learned how to trade toys politely, and mastered some basic obedience. And here’s the best part—his adopters will receive a free exit lesson with his trainer to keep the progress going! No one ever showed Nado the ropes when he was younger, so he’s still learning how to navigate the world. It’s not his fault he needs some extra guidance—he’s just making up for lost time! He can be a bit rambunctious when he’s excited, so he’s looking for an adult-only home that can keep up with his training. With structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he’ll be an incredible companion. While he’s a little too enthusiastic about other dogs right now, he’s working on his leash manners and focus. He’ll thrive with adopters who understand his needs and are committed to setting him up for success. HSHC recommends continued training, and we can even provide resources to help!Looking for an athletic, fun-loving, and wicked smart dog to train, adventure with, and be your loyal sidekick? Nado is ready and waiting! -----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. Story
Penny`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - UnknownKids - YesMeet Penny, a sweet, shy girl who’s still figuring out that the world isn’t such a scary place. She arrived as a stray, unsure of what to expect, but it’s clear she wants to trust—she just needs someone to show her the way.At first, Penny keeps her tail tucked, cautiously taking everything in. But speak to her gently, offer her a treat, and you’ll start to see her soften. That tucked tail? It starts to wag, just a little at first. Give her a few more minutes, and she’ll roll over, asking for chest scratches and belly rubs like you’re old friends.Leash walking seems new to Penny, and while she does well, sudden noises make her nervous. But here’s the good news—she’s super treat-motivated. Once she realized her handler had snacks, she kept checking in, looking back like, `Did you see how good I’m doing? Do I get another treat?` With time and consistency, she’ll learn that walks are something to enjoy, not worry about.Penny is the kind of dog who just needs a chance. She’s timid but sweet, cautious but hopeful. If you’re looking for a pup who will trust you more every day, wag her tail a little more each morning, and slowly but surely become your most loyal companion, Penny might be the one for you.Come meet her—you might just be the person she’s been waiting for!-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas.
