Story
She is a beautiful chocolate lab, 8 months old. She is very sweet and loves to play. She is a very good dog. I would describe her as playful and loving. She needs an owner who can provide lots of attention, play with her often and cuddle with her. She does not like getting wet- has been shown to dislike rain and sprinklers. She needs lots of space to run around. And is very good with other kids, and seems to be curious about cats but has had little interaction with them. She is trained to go to the bathroom outside but has the occasional accident indoors.

Story
Queen is a friendly girl who can be nervous at first, but once she's comfortable she absolutely loves being around people! She's always excited to play, and as a young lab mix she has plenty of energy for it! Because of how excited she can get, she's also quite clumsy, and can get very jumpy when playing. As she's still learning, someone who is able to dedicate the time and patience she needs to adjust and settle in would be ideal. Luckily she's very motivated by treats, but can also be intense around food, so she would do best with a slow feeder and someone who knows when to let her be.OTHER PETS: Queen has gotten along well with other dogs, displaying a nice level of play when meeting another dog of similar size and temperament. Because of how hyper she can be, a dog that has a similar energy level and play style would be ideal. [Likely (Must Meet First)]OWNER EXPERIENCE: Queen would do best with someone who is comfortable working with energetic dogs. [First Dog / Some Experience]KIDS: Queen can be very jumpy and intense about her food, so she would likely do better with kids who are old enough to understand when to give her her own space. [12+ (Must Meet First)] ACTIVITY LEVEL: Queen, as a typical lab mix, has a lot of energy to expend! She's jumpy and loves to run--with or without toys to chase. In a home environment, she would do best with both daily walks and various forms of mental enrichment to keep her mind and body busy. Once she's good and tired at the end of the day, she'd be happy to curl up and spend some time on the couch with her people. And with proper training, she could eventually work her way up to being a great hiking partner! [Olympic Athlete]VETERINARY CARE: [Routine]LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: Queen is still at the beginning of her positive training journey, and will do best learning with someone who can offer both patience and confidence while she adjusts. Positive reinforcement training will help Queen not only learn her basic cues, but also help her to feel more comfortable and confident in herself! It will provide a good opportunity for her to bond with her new owner too, and with further training, Queen would likely eventually be a good candidate for more adventurous activities like hiking or dog sports. [Moderate]GROOMING: Routine brushing will help to minimize shedding in the house, as well as ensure that Queen's fur stays clean and knot-free. [Minimal]August 19, 2024, 2:52 pm

Story
Callie was a street dog in Ecuador who we met on a trip. She followed us around everywhere and cuddled with us in our airbnb. She even chased our taxi down a few times. She came to the United States in July 2024. Unfortunately we cannot keep her because our other dog is dog selective and will not take to her. Callie loves all people including kids. She loves food and toys and going on walks. She is active and loves going on adventures but has a good off switch and settles down quickly inside. She is completely potty trained and we have started obedience training with her. She pulls on her leash when she sees squirrels or other small animals but is otherwise a very polite dog. She would excel in dog sports! The two vets she has seen estimated her to be between one and two years old.

Story
Cali came to me scared and underweight. Cali is great with other dogs and would do best in a female only house she is very skiddish around new people and doesn’t like most men. She was a surrender that has an abusive past that has seem to have stuck with her throughout her time with me. Cali loves to go with the flow, if it’s playtime she will play for hours, if it’s gloomy and you want to watch a movie and be cozy well Cali will lay by your side for hours. Cali has great potential. She is about 7/8 years old with lots of life left.

Story
Meet Finn! A charming six-year-old Labrador Retriever mix from Newtown Square, PA, whose golden coat and soulful eyes are the perfect match for his affectionate and gentle nature. This medium-sized boy, weighing in at a solid fifty-five pounds, is a bundle of love wrapped in fur, with a heart as big as his playful spirit! Finn is the epitome of a perfect companion! His friendly demeanor shines brightly in every encounter, whether it’s with people, children, or other dogs. He’s the type who will greet you with a wagging tail and a nuzzle, eager to share in the joy of the day! However, Finn has a tender side too—he’s a bit skittish around dogs who show aggressive tendencies, so he prefers to be in the company of calm and friendly canine companions. One of Finn’s greatest joys is his daily walks. He gets excited at the mere mention of the word, ready to embark on his twice-a-day adventure with his leash in tow! And speaking of leashes, Finn is quite the curious fellow, always keen to follow any intriguing scent that crosses his path, so a leash is a must when exploring the great outdoors. Despite his love for walks, Finn is a laid-back companion at home. He’s house-trained and doesn’t have accidents, even if left alone for several hours. You’ll often find him cozied up in his bed or lounging on the couch, awaiting your return with a sleepy gaze. Finn is also a master at charming his way into your heart—especially if there’s a treat involved. He’ll happily roll over or trot to his bed for the promise of a dog biscuit or dental chew! But his favorite moments are the quiet ones, where he can rest his head in your lap and soak up all the love and attention you’re willing to give. Car rides are another of Finn’s pleasures, but he insists on riding shotgun, where he can keep an eye on the world as it passes by. He’s not one for the back seat—Finn knows where the action is! Although he’s lived in the countryside and isn’t too familiar with busy traffic, he’s adaptable and eager to experience new adventures with his future family. Finn’s ideal home would be one where he can enjoy one-on-one attention, plenty of walks, and, of course, lots of head rubs! His new family will need to keep up with his routine ear cleanings, but in return, they’ll be rewarded with endless love and companionship. Are you ready to welcome this golden-hearted boy into your life and make him a part of your family? Finn’s waiting with a wagging tail and a heart full of love.
