Meet Earl. He is a sweet and gentle boy. He is great with kids. He is good around dogs but hasn't been socialize with them lately. He is healthy. He needs to updated on his shots. Sadly for him his owners can no longer keep him. They are moving out of state soon and will not have space for him. They do not want to go take a shelter. I am assisting him in finding a good home with space and yard. He needs a new start for the second quarter of his life. He will give you lots of love and hugs.

Story
We had Sasha 5 years ago when she was a puppy at humane society. Therefore we don’t know for sure what is she mixed with, but we were told she was a lab. She is energetic and love to be outside. She loves to play fetch or exercise games. We have had her professionally trained for basic commands like sit, down, come, leave it, stay, roll over. She is good with our children and played well with our neighbor’s dog. Yet she seems scared of bigger dogs. Unfortunately our second child is allergic to dogs that made it hard for us to keep her around. We hope to find a new home for her that could provide her attention and care. She would love a large space be able to run around. We think given a good training, she might be a good hunting dog! She is very smart!

Story
Joe Diffie is such a silly goose and so darn cute! He is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 25 pounds. This young, energetic, and curious pup is an absolute goofball who loves to make you laugh! Joe is always eager to play, especially if it's with you, really just doing anything with you makes him happy. While he's working on his manners, Joe is a quick learner and is eager to please. He's just looking for a family who can give him the love and attention he deserves. He will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old as he can still be a little puppy mouthy. If you're ready for a fun and furry addition to your family, Joe would be perfect, he's sure to bring a smile to your face and a bounce to your step. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Joe Diffie would love to meet them. He has an “all in” playstyle with other dogs and goes right into cute playbows. If you are interested in Joe Diffie and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Story
Fancy always seems to be smiling and happy! She is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 64 pounds. Fancy is a such an outgoing girl with a vibrant and loving personality. She may be goofy at times, but she's also very attentive and connecting. This smarty already knows a perfect sit and has great recall. Fancy absolutely loves to play with squeaky toys, so they would be a great tool to use for training and learning even more things. She would love an experienced, active, fun family who would like to run around and explore with her. Fancy will be your best friend from day one! She will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old. If you have another dog in the home, let’s discuss doing a meet and greet and see how the dogs are together. If you are interested in Fancy and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. Story
**Note: You may need to watch the show “The Big Bang Theory” to understand the humor in this write up. Who do we love? PENNY! PENNY! PENNY! If you are looking for a roommate who is as sweet as Sheldon's spot on couch and as loyal as Leonard's love for the girl next door. Look no further than with me, Penny! I’m the adorable lab/kelpie mix just waiting for our worlds to collide in our own version of “The Big Bang Theory”. While I may not understand your game of Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock, I am a blast to be around! I prefer things more my speed, such as fetch and playing with toys. I can fetch a ball with the precision of Howard's engineering and sniff out treats faster than Raj musters the courage to talk to women. I’m as friendly as can be and a real social butterfly. I would love to meet all of your friends no matter how odd they may be. We could get together for take out in your living room. Sounds like a good time to me! Giving me belly rubs and ear scratches are guaranteed to elicit a happy "Bazinga!" Okay, maybe just a wagging tail, but it's the thought that counts, right? I’ve been working hard at learning new skills like accessorizing my outfits. Have you seen my beautiful pink harness? A pop of any color, perhaps some mint green, really makes me look good. I have also been to a few training sessions with the Teacher’s Pet Program in my area. I’m learning so much and can’t wait to show you. I am always up for an adventure, except to the laundry room if it’s laundry day. I’d love to explore the world with you or at least the park down the street. I thrive in a fun and vibrant environment with any children being over 8 years old or older. Bonus points if you can quote Th Big Bang Theory on a regular basis. If you're looking for a dog who is as lovable as can be then I am your perfect match! If you are interested in Penny and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying.
