Story
We had Sasha 5 years ago when she was a puppy at humane society. Therefore we don’t know for sure what is she mixed with, but we were told she was a lab. She is energetic and love to be outside. She loves to play fetch or exercise games. We have had her professionally trained for basic commands like sit, down, come, leave it, stay, roll over. She is good with our children and played well with our neighbor’s dog. Yet she seems scared of bigger dogs. Unfortunately our second child is allergic to dogs that made it hard for us to keep her around. We hope to find a new home for her that could provide her attention and care. She would love a large space be able to run around. We think given a good training, she might be a good hunting dog! She is very smart!

Meet Earl. He is a sweet and gentle boy. He is great with kids. He is good around dogs but hasn't been socialize with them lately. He is healthy. He needs to updated on his shots. Sadly for him his owners can no longer keep him. They are moving out of state soon and will not have space for him. They do not want to go take a shelter. I am assisting him in finding a good home with space and yard. He needs a new start for the second quarter of his life. He will give you lots of love and hugs.

Story
Make sure to let us know you saw Coal on Adopt-a-pet. Coal is a recent owner surrender that we are already in love with! This pup went from being an indoor dog to a chain tie out due to the owner's health decline. The sweetness seen in his eyes, he just wants to be part of a family again. Coal has lived with other dogs, with proper introduction he may do well with new friends. Unknown cat behavior, we only say no small children due to his age and tolerance.

Story
Joe Diffie is such a silly goose and so darn cute! He is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 25 pounds. This young, energetic, and curious pup is an absolute goofball who loves to make you laugh! Joe is always eager to play, especially if it's with you, really just doing anything with you makes him happy. While he's working on his manners, Joe is a quick learner and is eager to please. He's just looking for a family who can give him the love and attention he deserves. He will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old as he can still be a little puppy mouthy. If you're ready for a fun and furry addition to your family, Joe would be perfect, he's sure to bring a smile to your face and a bounce to your step. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Joe Diffie would love to meet them. He has an “all in” playstyle with other dogs and goes right into cute playbows. If you are interested in Joe Diffie and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
