Hello, we purchased our dog from breeders in Millersberg, OH. He will be 3 years old on Sept 29th. He is a very sweet dog who loves people and is great with kids. He is not aggressive, just has a ton of energy and loves to play. His behavioral issues include chewing/destroying items, counter surfing, jumping on guests (from excitement) and pulling on the leash. He seems to exhibit some anxiety when tied up and can bark or scratch repeatedly until someone reacts. We really wish we could keep him but my husband and I do not have the capacity right now to properly train him and devote the time he deserves to work through these issues. We want a loving home for him that will invest the time he needs to be better.

Asher loves humans. He is a big dog who thinks he is a lap dog. His favorite things are pets, cuddles, sunbathing and treats. He spends most of his time as a couch potato but does have some bursts of energy to play tug of war or chew his squeaker toys. However he is dog/cat reactive so he will need to be the only pet in the home. He also needs to go to a home without children. We are rehoming him as he does not tolerate our 2.5 year old or 7 month old and our cat has to be locked in our bedroom. Asher is just not the happiest in our home anymore and as hard as it is to let him go he deserves a home where someone can meet his needs better than we can.

My name is Slayton! I am one years old and I weigh approximately 40 - 45 lbs. I am fostered in Danbury, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I was turned into a County animal shelter, but I’m not sure why because I am such a loving, friendly boy. I get along great with other dogs of all sizes and ages. In fact, one of my favorite playmates is the Great Pyrenees in our foster home. I am a fun loving boy with a very happy personality. I love people and I really enjoy being with them. I love to be petted and played with. l walk on a leash and I ride well in the car. I don't bark a lot. I have a medium energy level. I'm good with kids. Meet Daphne! She is a 7 year old black Lab mix who weighs about 75 pounds. Daphne came into our shelter after she was found as a stray with another dog that were running at large. She had severe skin issues that had been left untreated, but had been doing great since starting medical care! Due to her history, Daphne can be shy at times and takes some time warming up to new people. Daphne enjoys going on walks outside, and would make a great walking companion for someone looking to go on short walks outside to enjoy the fresh air. Since she is older she is a perfect energy level and will gladly occupy her own time. Once she knows you she likes to snuggle, but is just as happy napping on her dog bed. Since she is shy at first, if there are kids in her forever home they need to be ages 13 and older.
