Hello, we purchased our dog from breeders in Millersberg, OH. He will be 3 years old on Sept 29th. He is a very sweet dog who loves people and is great with kids. He is not aggressive, just has a ton of energy and loves to play. His behavioral issues include chewing/destroying items, counter surfing, jumping on guests (from excitement) and pulling on the leash. He seems to exhibit some anxiety when tied up and can bark or scratch repeatedly until someone reacts. We really wish we could keep him but my husband and I do not have the capacity right now to properly train him and devote the time he deserves to work through these issues. We want a loving home for him that will invest the time he needs to be better.

Brooks is almost complete with his training at our Grafton Reintegration Center Program. Here he learned all his basic commands! He is also house trained and good in his crate. His silly tactics are sure to have you belly laughing in no time. Brooks is a big boy who is learning that he doesn't need to jump on you for you to reach him. So he is hoping to be adopted by someone who can help him keep up with the manners he is learning at GRC. . This sweet boy has the best disposition. and loves everyone. Brooks loves other dogs, although we do require a meet and greet to make sure it's a great fit! This boy loves to be near his people and could often confuse your lap for a dog bed. He loves to be pet and will do just about anything for a treat.

Say hello to Renegade! This distinguished gentleman is a silver fox, at least in his face! This sweet black lab mix is a friendly, goofy boy that would love nothing more than to be your trusting companion and rest his head on your lap from time to time. Renegade's favorite past time you ask? Well he'd be happy laying upside down on the couch cuddled next to his favorite people watching whatever his humans want on TV. While we don't know his entire history, Renegade went through some trying times recently, and we've observed that many everyday activities in the outside world seem foreign and frightening to him. Walking on a leash is one of these activities. Although Renegade is getting much more comfortable walking on a leash, in new environments his nervousness gets the best of hm. Therefore; it is preferred that his forever home have a fenced in yard. Renegade is nervous around new people, but quickly warms up with a wagging tail, especially when you have a treat to offer, which he will take very gently. He is also house- and crate trained, so bringing him home and adjusting to your daily routine will be a breeze. Renegade is dog-friendly but doesn't seem interested in playing around much anymore. He would prefer to play and cuddle with his human friends. He could do well with another dog to follow their lead and gain more confidence but he'd be just fine on his own too. Meet Taylor! Taylor is a recent graduate of our training program and is ready to find her forever home! This beautiful, strong girl has learned an impressive list of commands, including sit, down, come, stay, heel, leave-it, and place. She's also fully potty trained and crate trained. Talk about a star student! Taylor is a social butterfly who loves everyone she meets, both people and pups. She made a few doggie friends during her training, but to ensure a good fit, a meet and greet will be required if you already have other dogs at home. Taylor's looking for a family that will continue her training and give her all the love she deserves. Could that be you? Here is what Taylor's handler at GRC had to say about her "Taylor is a strong willed girl. She is a good dog and she is alert on everything. UPDATE: Dewey has his forever home! Meet Dewey!! Dewey is a 2 yr old Chocolate Lab weighing 78 lbs. Dewey is house-trained but not a fan of a crate. He knows his basic commands (sit, stay, down). He is very smart and learns fast. Dewey will counter surf if given the opportunity. He is great with all dogs he meets and does doggy daycare to help manage his young dog energy. Dewey will need a very active Lab loving family and a dog friend would be best for Dewey ;-). He is super sweet and lovable! We would love for him to have a fenced in yard, not electric, so he has freedom to run and play. Dewey is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Dewey loves to swim and he is great with all people he meets! We do not do out of state adoptions, due to our trial adoption process.
