Story
FRAN / Female / 1 year 10 months / 68lbs; 31kgs / Shepherd-Lab Mix / Originally from Tennessee / Currently fostered in Mississauga Good with dogs, kids, and cats / House and crate trained Meet Fran, your new best friend for life! She’s a good southern gal - well mannered and full of charm! One look from her puppy dog eyes and she’ll have you wrapped around her little paw. Fran is an easy going gal who can fit into your world as easily as the last puzzle piece. She entertains herself by chewing on benebones and stuffies, followed by a nice snooze. True to her Lab nature, she loves the water, splashing around and having a ball at the beach! Fran enjoys spending her days with her canine foster brother, lounging on the couch and going on walks around the neighbourhood, followed by cuddles with her human. While a little shy at first, after a few minutes Fran will be sidling up to new friends for pats and treats. She just needs a little encouragement to help her be brave! Her playful and affectionate nature make her the perfect family dog. Fran is eager to please and will form a strong and loyal bond with her family. She’d like any kids in her forever home to be dog-savvy and respectful of her shy nature. Fran settles quickly in her crate while you’re away and will greet you with full body wiggles when you’re back! Fran and her siblings were dumped in Tennessee at a young age and she’s continued to be overlooked because of her black fur. This hasn’t dampened the joy in her heart or her desire to share her love with her humans. With the right training and a lot of love, Fran will blossom into a devoted and loving companion. Get ready for endless snuggles and a lifetime of love and joy with Fran!
