Meet Rogelio the Dapper Dude! He is currently 8 weeks old, just over 6 pounds, and we think he may be a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! Watch Rogelio's video here: This distinguished gentleman will always be at the ready for any formal affair - the soft shiny black contrasts so nicely with the pop of white at his chest that looks exactly like a tuxedo shirt. But it's the brown on Rogelio's legs that really stand out on this handsome fellow. And don't worry, Rogelio doesn't stand on ceremony; he's equally ready for outside adventures or lounging at home in a soft and fluffy dog bed or right next to you. We know Rogelio to be a cuddle champion and kisses are definitely appreciated (and will be returned many times over). We think the key to Rogelio's heart - besides treats of course - is going to be tiny toys - the softer and squeakier the better! And don't limit yourself to pre-labelled stuff either - Rogelio can keep himself (and you) perfectly entertained with a tiny crackly cat ball toy. That's how resourceful this charismatic sweet boy is, and we couldn't love his playful adaptable personality more. Rogelio is currently in a loving and experienced foster home where he is crate training, potty training, and gets to play with his sister and several other larger dogs. He spends his days living the best puppy life of eat, play, sleep, repeat - all he needs right now is YOU! Rogelio is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Need some love in your life? Millie has saved a couple kisses just for you! We believe that Millie is a Labrador mix of some sort. She’s estimated to be around 1 year old, and currently weighs in at 50 snuggly pounds. Millie is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses! She gets along well with everyone, and she has great manners with her older foster brother! She could play all day, but she can take the hint when he’s tired of it. They like to snuggle up in bed together, it’s the sweetest thing. Human or canine, Millie loves to snuggle! Millie is such a lovebug. The first thing you’ll notice about Millie when you meet her is just how people loving she is! This girl adoresss people, she loves affection and she greets everyone with a wagging tail and a big smile. She also loves touch, in all forms- it’s all love to Millie. She lets us hold her like a baby, pick her up, dress her up. She’s gentle and sweet and so tolerant. Here at the rescue, Millie showed us much of the same with the other rescue dogs. She was so happy and excited to meet every new dog, ranging from puppies to grouchy older dogs. She was perfectly sweet with all of the other dogs, playful with our rowdy pups and respectful with less playful dogs. She walks well on a leash, and tandem walking with other dogs comes naturally to her. She shares toys, treats and affection well with other dogs. Millie has a bouncy and energetic playstyle, she is the life of the doggy party and a total rockstar in any play group. If you want a dog for your dog, Millie is that dog! Considering how respectful and content she is with her senior foster brother, she could also do well in a home with lower energy dogs. Millie is just a very easy going, easy to love girl! Here at the rescue, we also cat-tested Millie. Millie is cat-tolerant! She could live with a dog-savvy, playful kitty. She’s really a perfect fit for any animal lover’s home. Millie is a total toy lover too. She’s happy to entertain herself with a rope toy or Nylabone for hours, but she also loves to share her toys! She loves to play “fetch” (or at least, “chase the toy and sometimes bring it back”) with humans and she shares toys well with her foster brother. Millie is still so young and teachable, she’s just the right age to become just about anyone’s perfect dog. She will work for treats, and is also such a gentle and sweet treat taker. She knows “sit” and walks well on leash already. While we haven’t seen her around kids just yet, we believe that Millie would make an amazing family dog. She’s so sweet and gentle, so tolerant and easy-going. It’s easy to imagine Millie living in a bustling home full of kids, with family members all around. Millie is also a perfect adventure dog! She’s great on leash, amazing in the car, and perfectly sweet with everyone that she meets. Take this girl to patio cafes, outdoor markets, or concerts in the park, watch her make friends and win hearts. Here in Houston, we recently had a very rare snow day! Millie spent the day joyously bounding around in the snow, her happiness was so contagious that it even got her senior foster brother to play. She loves the snow, and had so much fun, we would love to see this cutie in a 4-season state! She would love a home somewhere where she could enjoy this weather annually. Look DEEP into my eyes :).I am such a sweet and gentle girl with a heart of gold and so much love to share! My life was ruff before I landed here at the rescue, I was at the pound with my puppies, all 8 of them!! I was really blessed that I got to stay with them and get pled to a rescue, most mamas and pups are separated because most rescues prefer pups over mamas ;( But not MY rescue, I am just as loved as my pups are and I don't have all the puppy antics to handle :) So here I am, looking marvelous and waiting for that family who wants a soft and sweet girl to grace their couch... Colt is a social butterfly who loves making new friends and soaking up all the affection he can get. He'll lean right into you for those extra-special scratches!This smart boy appears to know basic commands like "sit" and "shake" and is eager to please. While Colt has some minor medical considerations, they don't slow him down one bit! Tank is 3 years of age.
