Story
Hi! Scout is an amazing dog. He's not very vocal, he rarely barks. He enjoys being obedient and loves being close to the people he loves. He's definitely a cuddler. He's very intelligent, but not very food motivated. He's rather get pets or praise than treats. He loves walks and is very curious. He's starting to learn fetch. He already walks really well on a leash! He's almost five months old. I was told he's a pure lab, but I'm not entirely sure about that. Also, the person I adopted him from said he was a vet tech so he administered the shots himself. This means that it would probably be a good idea to have the vet repeat them just so you have a clinical record of them being done. He's no neutered yet. But he is such a sweet boy!

Story
We adopted Elsa and Cinderella at 8 weeks old from an experienced breeder In 2019 and they have been an amazing part of our family. pure bread Silver Labrador Retrievers and are excellent with children. They both are friendly with other large dogs at the dog parks but get anxious and resource guard with smaller yippy dogs. We want them to go to a happy home where they can get the attention and love they deserve. Elsa is spunky, goofy and an attention hog. Cinderella is sweet, cuddly and loves to sneak kisses anytime she can. Both are very snack motivated and will try to trick you into thinking you forgot to feed them. They each have a large crate with beds and blankets that are included with adoption as well as a large dog run that splits with separate entrances so they can have their own space when desired. Rehoming due to relocation.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi new friends, Amory here!     I'm a nine-year-old lab/pit mix. I may be considered "older", but you'd never know it when meeting me. I love walks around the neighborhood, car rides, and going to new places...all the things! As long as I'm with my people, I'm happy. I also LOVE to snuggle. Movie time is my favorite, and if I can snuggle up next to you and sleep, I’m in heaven!    I’m crate trained, house trained, and I'm a pro with the doggy door. My foster parents say that after a couple of weeks of adjusting, I'll be just fine left out in my new home while my family is away. I just snuggle up on the couch or a dog bed for a nice nap until my people return.     I’m good with other dogs and really love little dogs. I will even play tug with other dogs or run around the yard to play when they want. I'm pretty content doing whatever the other dogs in the house enjoy! Oh, and did I mention that I love kids? I think they're so fun! My foster mom says I'm too interested in cats and should probably live without them, but otherwise, I'm as close to perfect as they come!    As I mentioned, I’m in great health for my age and like other senior dogs, I just need a joint supplement to keep my body in good shape. If you could give a sweet senior girl a nice, cozy place to retire, a few toys and bones, and so much love, please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 20, 2024, 9:45 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Are you looking for an adventure buddy who is friendly with everyone and everything?! That’s me! I’m Perigee, I’m just over 1 year old and weigh around 35lbs. I'm a beautiful brindle coloring and listed as a lab mix, but it’s really anyone’s guess. But I’m fully grown now and I’m a good medium size dog, perfect for traveling or laying about the house!   I’m a happy go lucky boy and love to play with people and dogs. I’m curious about cats, but typically leave them alone once the cat sets a boundary. I love stuffed toys and playing fetch. I’m good in the house and good in my crate. I have lived with big and little dogs and done fine with both.    I’m great with people and places and new things. I love to go places and while I’m still working on my leash training, I’m enthusiastic and am already pretty good at being the “neutral” dog in most public situations. I’ve done well from trails to stores! I’m great around kids, although I still have a little puppy energy, so I might accidentally knock tiny ones over. My foster thinks I would be an easy dog to take just about anywhere and do anything!   What’s the catch? I take a little more care than the average dog.    I have Mega Espophogis. That means I have to eat in a special chair (or just propped up somewhere, but the special chair helps) because my esophagus doesn't do its job (lazy!) and I need gravity to help make sure my food gets to my stomach - otherwise I will regurgitate (gross and not fun). The chair and the right food (dehydrated food is my fav right now) makes all the difference! I also take a couple of pills daily. My foster says it takes her about 45 minutes for each meal, but about 30 minutes of that is just me taking a nap in my chair while the food settles. She has 2 young kids and so far the feedings have not been a burden, and kids love to help!   I have been with Rescue Rovers since I was a puppy and my medications and feeding routine are very well managed. My foster will happily provide detailed instructions to make the transition easy! See my videos for what it looks like to prep my food and meds.    Do you think you could be the family I've been waiting for? Apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there! My name is Rae and I’m a 2.5 year old "lab mix". I'm a beautiful girl with flawless eyeliner and contour - not to mention my gorgeous golden-red coat. I weigh about 40lbs and consider myself to be at my ideal weight. I have a look like a mini-boxer...sort of? Honestly, there's probably all kinds of things mixed up in me! And you know, mutts make the best dogs!   I am a timid and shy lady. I am so happy in my foster home - the people here are great! It's time for me to find a forever family, now. I will be shy at first, but I will learn to love you lots with a little time! A training course would definitely help us bond. I am already potty trained and crate trained, so you know I’m a smart girl! I'm also great off leash with my foster mom, but that will take time to work up to in a new home. We take walks and I get to run and play in the stream - I love that! I really like to swim, too! I also love wrestling and playing with my doggie friends!   At home, I love to look out the front window at all the things going on. I don't bark or get worked up, I just like to look out at the world. I'm a very good snuggler, once we're bonded! I'll keep you warm at night and make sure you're never lonely <3   If you think you could be the family for me, apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 20, 2024, 9:45 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bragan is a stunner with his beautiful coppery coat.  Beautiful and housebroken!  This love-bug currently weighs around 85 pounds, but should probably be closer to 75. Is your goal to start a fitness journey this summer?  Bragan would be the perfect workout buddy.   Bragan was adopted out 3 years ago as a puppy.  His family fell on hard times and can no longer keep their pets, due to living circumstances.  So, the foster family that adopted him out as a puppy gets the chance to find a family for him once again.  A forever family this time!  As the two-time foster, we have loved seeing the amazing dog that Bragan has become.   Bragan was raised with small children and loves them.  Here, at Bragan's foster home, he has lived with our 3 other dogs.   He has been great with both large and small dogs.   Bragan is house and crate trained.  He does well on a leash and is an all around good boy.   Enough from the foster, here is what Bragan has to say: "Hi there!! My name is Bragan!  Do you want to see my toys?? I love to play! Tugs or fetch are both great! No? Ok, then I will chew on my bone for a minute and take a nap, preferably on something soft like the couch or a pillow in my crate. Wait, did you grab the leash? Yes! I would love to go for a walk! I love walkies! I love treats, but I do have the tendency to get overweight (as you can see from my bio pictures), so go easy on treats and give me positive reinforcement instead!  I like that ALMOST as much as treats. Oh! You sat down! Perfect, now I can sit down next to you, or preferably, on you. "If I sits, I fits."   If I sound like I could make a great addition to your family, apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 20, 2024, 9:45 am
