*ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED BY REBEL PAW @rebelpaw801Hi! My name is Persy and I am a wonderful puppo! I LOVE tennis balls and since I am an all-weather gal, I don't mind plunging in the snow to get them. I am a compact 50ish lb. terrier-mix with a short coat, soft ears and cute terrier toes. I can be trusted when left alone to not get in the trash or shred your things, but I'd prefer to come with you as I am quiet and sit in my seat on car rides. I walk VERY gently on a leash and take teats just the same. I don't bark, even when I am feeling playful and silly, so I could live nicely in an apartment. I also don't get upset if you pick me up, or touch my tail, toes, ears or mouth, but I will probably give you a lick if you do. I am house broken and am probably smart enough to use a doggy door if you have one. I am learning to sit ... for bacon! With all my wonderful qualities, you are probably wondering why I am looking for my forever home at the beautiful age of 9. Unfortunately, my best friends are humans and only humans. I am very sweet with two-legged friends but am otherwise best described as dog and cat 'de-selective.' I need to be the 'only child,' but I promise to make it such a sweet, funny, easy time that you won't need anyone else. I am untested with kiddos, but will probably be fine with them.To meet me, please fill out an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is sponsored by Rebel Paw! Story
This handsome boy is Roman! He is a two year old male lab/pit bull mix who is crate and house trained. Roman can be shy at first but when he warms up to you he'll want all your loving. He loves to have his head and belly rubbed the most. He is affection motivated and has been training easily because of it. He knows several commands like, sit, and is working hard to learn the rest. Roman loves the snow and will run crazy through it. Roman loves his people and likes to be near them and to snuggle. He is very cat curious and likes to follow them around trying to play with them. He has been good with other dogs, and can sometimes get jealous if they are getting loves and he's not. He has been good with young children, but his exposure had been limited so older children might be best. To meet Roman, please fill out an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application! Oh, and I love to howl -- it's my way of expressing myself! I'm ready to find a loving home where I can thrive! I'm a big fan of squeaky toys, and bones -- they're just so much fun! My bestest home would be some awesome, active people who love to play with me, while still teaching and training me to be my best self! I adore other dogs, am crate and house-trained, and know plenty of tricks. I would need to have very respectful older kids, and am very curious about cats. Kahlo (kah low) is a 7-month-old cattle dog mix puppy that is ready to find her forever home! Kahlo is a shy pup who comes to us from a local tribal reservation where she was discovered with a severe leg injury which required amputation however she has healed up well and is incredibly mobile! Kahlo takes a minute to warm up to new people, but with treats and time she is very sweet and loyal. Her favorite things are playing with her doggy friends and lounging in soft dog beds. She also loves toys, bones, belly rubs, and doing zoomies around the yard. She is house and crate trained, and super smart. She will need a family that can be patient and gentle with her while she continues to learn new things, like walking on a leash and riding in the car. Kahlo will do best in a home with a canine companion and a fenced in yard. Kahlo has a lot of love to give and will make a wonderful companion! If you'd like to meet Kahlo, please fill out an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Story
Hello there, I'm Captain! I'm a 4 year old lab - border collie mix, and I'm a big fan of lounging around and taking it easy. My days are filled with leisurely naps and playful antics. I start off a bit shy but once I get to know you, I am loyal, respectful, and so very goofy. I am super smart and know lots of commands like sit, down, shake, back up, wait, and come. I'm mellow too, so if you're looking for a calm, cuddly companion, I'm your guy. I'm just as happy to play fetch as I am to curl up on the couch for a movie marathon. I can't tell you how much I love lounging on the couch; but if you are up for an adventure, I will happily accompany you! I ride great in the car. I love toys, balls, bones, and 5 minute zoomie sessions in the yard before returning to my preferred state as a couch potato. Cats and chickens might be a little too exciting for me, but I get along well with lots of dogs who match my personality. I am fully house trained and crate trained and sleep in my crate without a peep, but I'm also trusted to be left out in the house not to get into any trouble. Because I'm not very confident around new people (especially excited kids), I need to be in a home with adults only. I'm looking for a forever home where I can share my love, laughter, and lounging skills. I'm just the perfect blend of fun and relaxation. Gabby, our energetic companion, is around 2 years old. Despite her wonderful qualities, we're reluctantly seeking a new home for her. Our current dog's territorial behavior and the impending arrival of a baby make it challenging to ensure a peaceful coexistence without proper training time. Gabby is a vibrant soul, full of life and love. She's fiercely loyal, friendly, and always up for a good play session. With her playful spirit and affectionate demeanor, she's a joy to have around. Gabby loves the company of other dogs and thrives on outdoor adventures, especially long walks where she can explore to her heart's content.

Story
We adopted Elsa and Cinderella at 8 weeks old from an experienced breeder In 2019 and they have been an amazing part of our family. pure bread Silver Labrador Retrievers and are excellent with children. They both are friendly with other large dogs at the dog parks but get anxious and resource guard with smaller yippy dogs. We want them to go to a happy home where they can get the attention and love they deserve. Elsa is spunky, goofy and an attention hog. Cinderella is sweet, cuddly and loves to sneak kisses anytime she can. Both are very snack motivated and will try to trick you into thinking you forgot to feed them. They each have a large crate with beds and blankets that are included with adoption as well as a large dog run that splits with separate entrances so they can have their own space when desired. Rehoming due to relocation.

Story
Hi! Scout is an amazing dog. He's not very vocal, he rarely barks. He enjoys being obedient and loves being close to the people he loves. He's definitely a cuddler. He's very intelligent, but not very food motivated. He's rather get pets or praise than treats. He loves walks and is very curious. He's starting to learn fetch. He already walks really well on a leash! He's almost five months old. I was told he's a pure lab, but I'm not entirely sure about that. Also, the person I adopted him from said he was a vet tech so he administered the shots himself. This means that it would probably be a good idea to have the vet repeat them just so you have a clinical record of them being done. He's no neutered yet. But he is such a sweet boy!

Rolly and his six siblings came to HSU as part of our Last Litter program. This means we took in the unplanned litter while spaying the mother and returning her to her guardians. According to the previous guardians, these pups were born in the home. They did not report any issues with sharing among the pups. These pups were friendly and playful with all the people they met in the home, meeting new friends once a week. They lived with both doggy parents, and everyone got along well. The mother was reportedly a Goldendoodle and Dad was reported to be a Dalmatian. These little bundles of joy were described as friendly, smart, goofy, cuddly and loving. Of course they love toys and playing. Rolly is ready to join your family!
