Story
Meet Athena Floppodopoulos! She is currently 3 months old, and we think she may be a Black Lab/Min Pin mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Athena's video here: Bow before the Empress of Floppy Ears, the Queen of Fluff, the Oracle of Boops - Athena Floppodopoulos has arrived! This magnificent fluffy girl possesses the wisdom of the gods, the soft snuggles of a thousand clouds, and ears so floppy they deserve their own epic poem. Whether she’s gracefully flopping into your lap or embarking on noble quests (like the search for endless belly rubs and squeaky toys), Athena is a Greek goddess in pup form. But beware—one boop from her adorable black snoot and you shall be enchanted forever (just like we are)! If you seek a loyal, loving, and legendary cuddle companion, apply to adopt Athena today and let the adventures of a lifetime begin! This playful and affectionate pup is currently in a loving and experienced foster home with several other dogs, so she is well-socialized and quickly learning all the right puppy things. She loves soft squeaky toys (all toys really) and likes nothing better than to be close to you. Athena is quite the clever cookie and treat-motivated, so we can't wait to see what she learns next! Athena is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Athena's new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67c74887a3dd2e86220958ba Please email katiak@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Marjorie 801-648-3447I got Bella at 6 weeks, in March of 2020. She`s been an only dog since coming home. She loves to play tug of war, fetch, chase (if em she escapes the yard or home she will run but usually comes back after 20-30 minutes, I do not recommend chasing her), she is kennel trained and prefers to sleep there, she doesn`t bark normally and when she does it`s because someone she doesn`t know is nearby or knocking on the door, she loves kids and has had my 5 young boys, being busy and loud, her whole life. She doesn`t bite people or kids but will chase cats. She used to catch the rats in the back yard of my friends house and has caught and killed by playing with it, a rabbit, that escaped it`s yard. She`s up to date with vaccines, has been spayed, loves the dog park, will pull on the leash(I think that`s the only husky trait that has come thr ough in her personality, lol), only eats until she`s full, alerts to needing to go outside when she needs to go potty but will potty inside if she`s not being looked after. She`s extremely sweet and loving, loves butt rubs, and pets.
