Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Trouble! Trouble is a delightful male Lhasa mix born around April 1, 2016, who was found in Spring Branch. Despite having a microchip, his previous owner chose not to reclaim him, which has truly been their loss. Trouble is an incredibly friendly senior dog who gets along with everyone and loves to play. Though he has an old injury to his eye, it doesn’t dampen his spirit. Trouble is very lovable and enjoys offering his belly for rubs, making him a favorite among the rescue team. His name might suggest otherwise, but Trouble is nothing but a joy and a testament to the saying that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Weighing 19.2 pounds, Trouble is potty trained and walks well on a leash. He is fully vetted and has received a ProHeart 6 vaccine, offering heartworm prevention until February 22, 2025. His adoption fee is $300. If you’re looking for a sweet and loving companion who’s ready to bring joy into your life, Trouble is your perfect match. Apply to adopt him today at www.adoggie4you.org and give Trouble the loving home he deserves. Welcome Trouble into your life and enjoy his affectionate and playful nature! This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Tyler. I came to the ranch from the valley, where I was scheduled for euthanasia in 2013. My first parents had a young child that hit me with sticks, kicked me and hurt me. One day I decided to fight back, and I bit the child, so I ended up in the slammer. I was barely a year old, so my foster mom decided to give me a chance. My foster mom loved me. She let me sleep with her, she treated me good and let me play with toys and go for walks with her. It took me about a week to trust her, but I loved her lots.  Unfortunately I had to come back to the kennels when she couldn’t foster anymore.  My kennel mates are good friends.  We play and love each other.  But I really would like to have a real family before I go to the rainbow bridge.  I have been at the rescue since 2011, they love me, but it’s not the same.  I know it’s partly my fault.  I used to bite new people.  Hey, but the good news is I only have 4 teeth, so I can only gum you.  I have been living with Pat since I lost my teethys.  She says I am too old to be in the kennels.  For the most part this is great, but I have to share her with lots of other babies.  Mommy says she is going to find me a special forever home that will be patient and give me the time I need to get to know you. Are you the special family mommy told me about?  I have been waiting for 11 years to find my special family, but mom tells me not to worry.  Someday I will get my wish.   To adopt this dog, please fill out an application at www.adoggie4you.org.  He was born around 2/5/2013 and weighs 21 pounds.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 18, 2024, 6:46 pm

Story
Oh so handsome, that's our BO! A 7 month old LhasaPoo, this little man will steal your heart. So soft, a lover boy, already so good on house manners, good on a leash, and a fantastic rider in the car - he even comes with his own car seat! Bo came to us through no fault of his own, and deserves to find his forever family ASAP! Bo will be a nice small but sturdy size when full grown, estimating 15-18#. A perfect good buddy, trail walker, coffee shop partner or couch cuddler. Bo knows several commands already including crate, and he wiill sleep or rest in his crate, but his preference is that he sleeps with you. Bo is great with other dogs so far, but has also lived as an only dog, so he will be good in whatever family situation. Bo will be adopted with a contract and deposit to ensure neuter within 60 days of adoption.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. PLEASE go to our website www.collarofhope.org to read all information about our puppies, rescue, adoption process and to submit our adoption application.  All of our information does not transfer to the adoption sites. Before completing our adoption application, please consider the following: Is someone home to raise and train a puppy? Do you have a securely fenced yard for the puppy? Can you give a puppy a 15ish year commitment? We don't know the breed mix of this beautiful litter but Lh asa  Apso was the closest to their fur and coloring so that's what we chose.  We do not know if they'll need haircuts or will just keep a medium length coat.  So whomever adopts them needs to be prepared for possible grooming appointments and regular brushing regardless.   They're a fun, outgoing litter.  Our best guess on adult sizes is between 20-25 pounds.  Puppies that are not old enough to have received all 3 puppy DHPP vaccines will not be adopted to anyone in apartment or condo residents as they are not protected against parvo or distemper until they've received all 3 vaccines. Our puppies are or will be neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated age appropriate (they will need additional vaccines), de-wormed and parasite treated/prevented throughout their time with CoH as a foster puppy.   Vaccine Protocol is as follows: DHPP series of 3 are needed and puppies are not protected against parvo or distemper until they're received ALL 3 vaccines. Rabies 6 months of age Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 18, 2024, 9:00 pm
