Story
Oats is a sweet girl who has so much love to give. She is shy around new people, but once she's had a chance to come out of her shell, she loves spending her days curled up on the couch. She is dog, cat, and kid friendly. Oats would prefer a home with another dog who can show her the ropes. Oats is a 3-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $600 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Oats is also tested with other dogs, cats, children, kennel trained, and housebroken. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). *We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, January 11th. Instead we will offer private adoption appointments for approved applicants this week.* For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Little Marvin is about 1-1.5 years old and weighs about 10lbs.   Marvins foster said he is a sweet little man with the cutest pink nose.  Since he is still younger he has a good amount of puppy energy and would love another best friend his size to play with.  He is a very little man and is great with kids and all humans.  He is a great, fun little dog and just needs to find his true forever humans and 4-legged sibling. If you are interested in adopting little Marvin, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2267277##

Story
Every bit as sweet as her name, easygoing 18-month-old Candy is 15 pounds worth of sugar and spice and everything nice! A well-mannered and affectionate little lapdog, this mellow miss loves cuddling and snuggling with her foster mom, resting her head on her, and accompanying her to her office twice a week where she also loves greeting everyone she sees. Friendly towards the small, similar-sized and larger dogs in her foster home, Candy enjoys wrestling and playing games of tug-o-war with one of them, and gets along wonderfully with children of all ages. Fond of all treats, she likes tennis balls, stuffies and rope type toys, going for rides in the car, and is motivated by love, toys and food. As these are still early days, she seems to only know “come,” is never crated and is working on her housetraining skills.  Candy does need a lot of help learning to walk on a leash so, for this reason, she must live in a home with a fully fenced yard. With much yet to learn and much love to share, this snowy white sweetheart will sweeten the lives of any patient and loving family that will complete her training, including her commands, and keep her in cuddles fur-ever.      Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! Story
please read description thoroughly before contacting . Meet Daisy! Daisy is a sweet 16-pound, 2 1/2 year old Maltese, possibly with a little Shih Tzu in her mix. She has adorable apricot-colored ears and tail that give her a unique charm. Right now, Daisy is on a journey to regain her health, as she needs to lose about 40% of her current weight to reach her ideal size of 10 pounds. We're looking for a foster or adopter who can lovingly guide her through this weight-loss journey with proper exercise and a healthy diet. Daisy has also experienced some emotional trauma in her past, likely due to mistreatment. She was surrendered because she would panic and have accidents when picked up. She sometimes yelps when touched in certain areas, but we've found this to be more emotional than physical, as she doesn’t react the same way during calmer moments. Slowly but surely, Daisy is learning to trust again. With patience, praise, and gentle encouragement, she’s making wonderful progress and can now be picked up without peeing in calmer moments. Daisy is eager to bond and would thrive with someone who is home often to provide her the consistent care and attention she needs. Daily walks and playtime are essential to help her shed the pounds and build her confidence. She would also benefit greatly from having a young, confident canine friend to show her the ropes and keep her active. Because Daisy is easily startled by quick movements, we ask that families with small children not apply, as this could set back her progress. She is looking for a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and supported. Daisy is in great health otherwise—her teeth are in excellent shape, and she is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $300. If you’re ready to help Daisy on her journey to a happier, healthier life and show her what it means to be truly loved, please apply at www.misfitsdogrescue.org. January 4, 2025, 12:03 pm

Story
Meet Mark, a sweet Maltese boy (weighing in at 7 lbs), recently rescued by National Mill Dog Rescue. Though a little shy due to his past experiences, with patience and kindness, he will begin to trust and reveal his wonderful self. He’s eager to find a loving home where he can feel safe and blossom into the loyal companion he’s meant to be.Stay tuned as we continue to learn more about his personality and watch him grow into the amazing dog he truly is!- - - - -Before being rescued, many of our dogs have had limited socialization, so they may need a bit of time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
