He absolutely adores his foster sibling and would thrive in a home with another dog to play and bond with, but it’s not a requirement! Sherman tends to fall in love fast and hard with his humans, so we’re looking for an adopter who enjoys training and can help him build confidence and independence to prevent separation anxiety. Hi there,I`m Asha - I haven’t had the easiest start in life. Before I was rescued, I didn’t know kindness, safety, or love. The world still feels really big and scary to me, and I’m still figuring out how to trust.Walking on a leash? Kinda scary. Going outside to do my business? Still learning. Being held/pet? Right now - no thanks! Meeting new dogs? I get nervous, but maybe with time, I could make some friends. Right now, I just need someone patient—someone who understands that I want to be brave, but I need to go slow. I learn to bond after a while, but it does take me time - after we hangout a bit I slowly get more calm around you.I dream of a quiet home, a soft bed, and a gentle hand to show me that humans can be good. When I first came to Act2Pups back in October of 24 I was pretty shy. Today I enjoy other pups at rescue. My shyness was due to spending a lot of time in boarding before I came to rescue. I was a little reactive to getting picked up but my groomer didn't have any issues, as you see in the photo. I enjoy being petted and I'll sit on your lap so I've got a cuddle gene in me! Patience will be the key word when interacting with me, and it will be well worth it because I'm a loyal little fellow. I'm almost 9 years old so I've got a long future ahead. I'm ready, won't you give me a chance.

Pickles was turned into the shelter along with 8 others - including many of his littermates. They were not well socialized with humans but opened up a little every day and are doing well with humans and other dogs in the home. Pickles has turned out to be the most adventurous, the first to try something new. His interaction with his foster mom is getting better every day. He is doing well with house traing and crate training and bravely tackling leash walking. Pickles is not suitable with small children as he is still building confidense and learning to be brave. Aspen is 1 of 6 litter mates turned in at the shelter when he was almost 1 year old. They did not have much socialization with humans and he is working hard to trust and bond with is foster mom. Aspen has very beautiful and distinctive coloring, white with a pink nose and pale eyes. He is gentle but still quite shy and will do best in a home with another dog to help him with his confidence. He is doing well with house training but still needs supervision. He is not suitable for a home with small children as he is still working on his confidence and house training' Aspens adoption Fee is $325.
