Born: June 25, 2014 I am 5lbs and l am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $350 Rover is blind, but this doesn't stop him from getting around and enjoying his life! All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. Because of his background, he's extremely shy around people and spends his day snuggled up with other dogs in a secluded area rather than join in the bustle of the household. He also takes his cues from the other dogs in his foster home and will need a canine companion in his forever home to show him the ropes. Yoshi will need a family that's willing to give him extra time and patience to come out of his shell and show him how wonderful life can be as a spoiled pet. He's not ready to be leashed and his family will need a way to let him do his business outside in a fenced in yard or puppy pen until he gets comfortable enough to be walked. If you're willing to take a chance on Yoshi and give him the affection and patience he needs, you'll be rewarded tenfold watching him come out of his shell and find joy and comfort in life. Presenting Little Biscuit! 📣 Fresh out of the oven, this little biscuit is about 3 months old and weighs in at about 3-4 pounds. He resembles a Yorkshire Terrier mix. He is currently staying with his foster family in Lindenhurst, IL. Little Biscuit is a natural at making you want to just eat him up with those beautiful eyes and soft, fluffy white fur. He’s working hard on potty training and is getting great at giving you clues that he has to go out. He’ll use a potty pad when needed. He needs some help getting used to a leash and he is already crate trained – however with those adorable looks we think you may not be able to resist having this fluffy dream sleep cuddled up with you in your bed. 💤🛌💞Biscuit hasn’t met cats yet. He likes children, but due to his small size and puppy teeth might do best in a home with children at least 10 years old who can look out for this little guy. In foster, he’s living with four dogs, who he absolutely loves. 💕 He plays puppy hard with the other dogs and might be a lot for a senior dog to deal with - unless it’s the right one. He’s a grazer right now, so if he goes to a home with other dogs, it will be important to monitor his food to keep other dogs from eating it out from under him. With his tiny size it might also be best if he isn’t in a home with large dogs. It’s hard to resist carrying this adorable little guy around constantly since he’s just the right size and so cuddly, but when you do put him down he does a great job of playing and entertaining himself. Not surprisingly, Little Biscuit is full of love and kisses 😘 to give. He’s not particular and hasn’t met anyone he’s not willing to shower with his love and affection. ❤️Little Biscuit is getting good at recognizing his name and responding. His listening skills are improving every day, and he is making good efforts in being redirected when doing all the normal puppy things. We would love it if Little Biscuit’s home was one where he would be surrounded with a lot of love and attention, and not left alone for long periods of time - possibly in a home where there’s a human around the house the majority of the day …retired, work remote. Because of his fluff, he’ll also require regular grooming. He promises to gaze lovingly into your eyes 😍 while you do it, and also probably interrupt frequently with loads of kisses!! 😘He’s up to date on all of his age appropriate shots 💉and microchipped. Sebastian turned 8 years old this month. I am elderly and recently moved in with my daughter and her family. They do not like Sabastian and are constantly criticizing him and me. The stress is just becoming more than I can handle. I got him from a breeder when he was 8 weeks old. He is totally up to date on all his shots. He is in excellent health and just needs someone to love him and care for him. I have not been able to totally housebreak him, so he does occasionally soil in the house.

Buster is the happiest little dog you will ever meet. It's hard to look at him and not smile. He came to us kind of scraggly but after a nice grooming, a dental and some TLC, he is feeling fine. Buster lost his loving home when his owner passed away. We are looking for the perfect home for him to live out his golden years. Buster has Cushing's Disease but is not needing treatment at this time. Cushing's disease (also known as Cushing’s syndrome) is a condition in which the adrenal glands overproduce certain hormones.
