You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Do Not Apply for a pet with PENDING in the name bar. They have been matched with a home, but not adopted yet. Jesse is a morkiepoo. This is a maltese, yorkie and poodle. He was born 9/6/24. He weighs 7 lbs. His parents are 9 and 12 lbs. There are no known health issues. He does have tear stain. This should improve with time and good nutrition. He came from a store that closed due to New York's new law that does not allow the sale of dogs. Jesse gets along well with others. He likes older children and seems to be friendly with other dogs and people. Adoption fee is 950.00 This includes transport to the SE. He is playful, but also likes to cuddle. Needs basic training Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a $20.00 donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Your application will remain on file for a year. Applications are available at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under forms/application. Donation should be made through Paypal at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com. We are only available by phone after you have an approved application. All pets are located in the southeast. Transport is available to the NE for an additional $300.00 transport fee. We do not adopt in MA, RI due to import laws. Residents MUST pick up in CT. All dogs over 8 months will be spayed or neutered and heartworm tested. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated,microchipped, dewormed and treated for other parasites. Please read the FAQ on our website for additional information. Adoption fees are cash or money order only. We try to find best match for each of our pets and do not adopt on first applied basis. She is loving and will reward you for your patience. The following bio is from her foster mom. This sweet little girl is Chloe Talbot. She came into rescue after years of living as a breeder mama at a puppy mill in Georgia. She is understandably timid and takes some time to trust. Chloe is especially cautious of men at this time. We are working hard to help her realize that she is safe now and that she can trust men again. She has become very comfortable with her female foster, and Chloe makes herself comfortable on her lap, where she would like to stay forever. This cute girl likes to be wherever her favorite person goes. Chloe is learning that she is deserving of all the love, kindness, and comfort that she was lacking for so long. She loves her doggie foster sisters who enjoy running with her in the yard. They're both helping to teach her how to be a dog. Also, Chloe is working to understand that her potty place is outside. After living in a crate for three years, this is a concept that is going to take time. She would do best in a quieter home where someone is home a good bit of the time. She is truly ten pounds of love who is looking for an understanding, compassionate person to show her unconditional love that she will surely return tenfold. Jovie is incredibly sweet, her diabetes is controlled with daily insulin, she is happy and loves to cuddle on dog beds, and she seeks human attention now. They are estimated to be about 10 years old, they are completely bonded and must remain together for the rest of their lives. Don't let their age fool you, these 2 are active, and sometimes vocal.
