IF INTERESTED YOU MUST COMPLETE OUR APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE, WE DO NOT RECEIVE APPLICATIONS FROM THIS SITE. WE DO NOT CHARGE A FEE TO COMPLETE AN APPLICATION OR REQUIRE SEPARATE APPLICATIONS FOR DIFFERENT DOGS WE MAY HAVE AVAILABLE. www.schnauzersaversrescuers.org MILO is a pure bred MALTESE, 5 yrs old male. He is white and feels like silk. He is UTD on vaccines/rabies and Bordetella, groomed and microchipped. He is neutered and heartworm negative. He’s on heartworm prevention and been dewormed. Milo never meets a stranger, no matter if it’s a dog or person. He adapts well to a new environment rather quickly. This little one is about 13 lbs. And he loves to be the boss, yet not in an aggressive way at all. He likes to talk to you and tell ou stories. Follows you around the house and learns very quickly. First day in his foster home, she moved the gate to enter into another room, turned around and within a minute, Milo moved the gate and followed her. He enjoys going outside in the fenced yard to explore. His foster Mom stays outside with him and he has good recall. He came as a breeder surrender, along with others. These dogs lived outdoors and still learning to go out on command. So Milo would do best being on a consistent schedule or a belly band in the beginning. He does well with other dogs in the home, but does like to take the role of being the leader. Kids should be over 10 as these dogs have never lived with a child of any age. If you’re interested, please complete an application on our website not on ADOPT A PET. We do not ship animals anywhere. We do not charge to complete an application. If you’re asked to pay to apply then STOP right there, you aren’t on our website. WE do NOT get those apps. He is being fostered in Linwood, NC, so you must be willing to come pick him up. If you are not ready to adopt now, please do not ask us to hold a dog. Requirements: No Kids www.schnauzersaversrescuers.org

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › MaltipooTuxedo is an energetic boy who loves to run and play. He enjoys chew toys and playing with other dogs. He does well in his crate for limited times during the day and he is a good sleeper whether in his human's bed or on his dog bed. He is not fully potty trained so a fenced back yard for outdoor play time would be great. Although he [has] been on a harness and leash, he finds himself getting distracted and darting in different directions. He's a loving boy with a good heart and a kind spirit. He is smart and he's a good eater. He's not picky with his food. He lives his live with joyful abandon and happiness.Tuxedo is estimated to be around 4 years old and 12 lbs.You can apply to adopt me here: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 1, 2025, 8:53 am

Story
Nick is a happy 1-2 yr old Maltese mix who weighs about 11 lbs. Nick is playful and fun but is not hyper.  He does love to race around the backyard for a few minutes each day.  He is good at entertaining himself in the house but also would let you throw a toy for him for as long as you are willing.  Nick sleeps very well in his crate overnight.  He would enjoy another small dog who likes to play gently but would probably be too much for a senior dog.  He is good for baths and grooming and has such an all-around nice demeanor.  He is very fast around doorways, so he is best suited for a home where his family can use barriers to block him from open doorways. He is not a dog for a senior citizen.   Nick is crate-trained and doing well on house training but not completely house-trained. He squats when he pees, so he is a young dog and not a "marker." Nick could be an only dog or have another dog under 15 pounds in the home.   The adoption range for this dog is limited to NC, SC, VA and East TN.  If you are interested in adopting this dog, contact h2hadoptions@gmail.com.  There is an application process and adoption fee.  WE REQUIRE AN ALL-ADULT HOME WITH A SECURELY FENCED YARD. The secure fence must be 4ft or higher, with gaps no greater than 2 inches, and attached to the home - meaning you have an inside door that opens into the fenced yard. An invisible fence, enclosed patio, terrace or deck, temporary fencing, dog pens or dog lots or community shared fencing (dog park) are NOT considered secure fencing. If your fencing has "puppy pickets" (or is supplemented with garden fencing) it needs to be at least 36 inches high from the ground up AT THE LOWEST POINT. No exceptions.  We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business.  Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, NC to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports.  Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines, and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing.  Adoption Fee: $500March 10, 2025, 5:32 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Luca—Our Silly, Sweet Boy  Say hello to Luca, our affectionate and playful 10 lb Maltese mix who was found as a stray in Orange County. Luca has stolen our hearts with his silly antics (he loves showing off his teeth in the funniest way!) and his love for cuddles. But behind that adorable smile, Luca has some medical challenges. He has a heart murmur, tooth decay, and gum disease that need immediate attention. He’s working on getting healthy and will soon need dental treatment to ease his discomfort and keep that silly grin intact. Once he has completed his surgery, he will be available for adoption.&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 &#226&#158&#161&#239&#184&#143 Donate here: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=VJEXAFXEE84BE &#226&#158&#161&#239&#184&#143 Adoption Application here:  https://rainbowbridgerescue.org/applications/ Luca may have had a rough start, but with your support, he’s well on his way to brighter days filled with love, play, and wagging tails.
