Penelope’s journey began on the south side of town where she was found severely matted and in need of urgent care. Thanks to the loving hands at the vet, she underwent a gentle sedation to remove the mats and start her on the path to recovery. Sadly, no one came forward to claim this sweet girl, but now she’s found happiness and safety. Despite her rough start, Penelope is a bundle of joy. She’s incredibly playful, adores everyone she meets, and gets along famously with all her furry friends. Her antics are a constant source of amusement, especially her acrobatic jumps that showcase her impressive agility—she’ll leap into your arms with boundless enthusiasm! Penelope is still perfecting her potty training, but her loving nature and spirited personality make every day a delightful adventure. She’s yet to meet a stranger and greets each new friend with a wagging tail and a loving heart. She is now living in a foster home and coming out of her shell and is extremely sweet and loving. Fiona would do best in a quieter home, with people who can help her become more confident and happy. She likes sitting next to her best human friend, eating snacks, and especially enjoys going on walks. She bounces through grass and loves smelling things when she is outdoors! She is a good doggy who never chews on furniture or clothes and rarely ever barks. Her favorite toys are usually just a simple little cardboard box! She is beginning to come out of her shell and warm up to people more and more. She would integrate well into a calm house without children, as she is still overcoming shyness.
