Meet Roscoe, a two year old Maltese/Shih Tzu mix.Roscoe was owner surrendered due to his owner having an autistic son and whenever Roscoe would bark the son would have an episode which wasn`t good for her son or for Roscoe. Roscoe`s owner said he is shy/nervous at first but once he warms up he is friendly and enjoys belly rubs. They said Roscoe could benefit from a bit more socializing which we agree with. He has been super shy and unsure since coming in to us which is expected since his whole world has been turned upside down. Sudden noises and movements do scare him so we are looking for someone to take it slow with him and who has a quieter home with no young kids. Roscoe is a breed that requires regular brushing and grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!!  My name is Casper from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 6 year old male Maltese.  I am about 5 lbs. and hoping to find a forever home.  I am friendly and was saved from an illegal Breeding Farm in South Korea.  I was rescued with many others by local activists from the horrific conditions we were in.  I fought to survive every day and was so badly neglected.  Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,495 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.  A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs.
