Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!!  My name is Milo from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 5 year old male Maltese.  I am about 5.5 lbs. and hoping to find a forever home.  I am friendly and was saved from an illegal Breeding Farm in South Korea.  I was rescued with many others by local activists from the horrific conditions we were in.  I fought to survive every day and was so badly neglected.  Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,595 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.  A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  We do not guarantee the breed and age of the dogs.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.  Please e-mail at  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  for an adoption application.     December 18, 2024, 11:17 pm

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi, my name is Joey from Korea and I a m a wonderful 7 year-old male Maltese, weighing only 6 lbs.   I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in Korea, where dogs like me endure unimaginable cruelty and hardship. Thankfully, compassionate rescuers saved me and gave me the chance to experience something I’d never known before, hope.  I’m a gentle and affectionate companion who loves being around people, including kind children. I get along well with other dogs and would enjoy a family who can shower me with attention and affection.  I’d do best in a home with a family who understands that rescued dogs need patience and time to adjust.  We recommend working with our skilled pet rescue trainer. My adoption fee of   $995 (tax-deductible and essential for supporting future rescues) c  overs Spay/Neuter,  DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations,  Deworming and Heartworm testing,  Microchipping,  Boarding fees, health certificate, and airline transport from Korea to Seattle.  For safety, all adopted dogs must have a GPS tracker or Apple AirTag. Story
This one-year-old, 18-pound Maltese/spaniel mix may have had a rough start, but his heart of gold has always shone through. Found as a stray and in desperate need of care, Poet is now ready for a fresh start with someone who will cherish him. With a little TLC, his beautiful white fur will soon shine as brightly as his gentle spirit. Quiet, sweet, and incredibly loving, Poet is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a snuggly, affectionate pup. He doesn’t mind being held and will gladly soak up all the love you have to give. Could he be the missing piece in your life?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.March 14, 2025, 11:59 am

Story
Eve was abandoned after being used as a grooming practice dog. She was found living in truly horrific conditions inside a wire cage where her feet would sink through the floor. Dream Tails Rescue rescued her from these miserable conditions, and she is now happily awaiting her forever home. She is an 8-month-old female, weighing 3kg, who is a unique mix of Maltese and Poodle, with a small, beautiful, and lovable appearance. Despite her past, Eve is very affectionate, loves people, and gets along well with other dogs. Because of her past living conditions, she has not yet been potty trained. She will need to be taught how to use pee pads step by step, and due to her small size and young age, occasional accidents are possible. Additionally, she may experience separation anxiety when away from her caregiver. As a puppy, she may get into mischief, but this is an important stage for play and learning. Providing her with toys and engaging in playtime will help her release energy. While she requires a little extra care, her adorable and affectionate personality will help her adjust quickly. With love and patience, Eve will return that love to you in endless ways. 💕
