Miss Mila was quite shy so we place her with a great foster person, who spent time with her, helping her learn that she is safe and can be loved. I am an affectionate and curious little girl who loves new friends, who are patient with me as I am a bit shy at first but I do like both human and canine. I am gentle and sweet, and I love getting lots of pats and belly rubs. I am still learning my leash skills, but I'm making great progress! Regarding house training skills: I am pee pad and doggie door trained. My foster dad and mom use a harness and its ok with me. I love my people and I love other dogs, too! I acquired Dexter from a friend. He is a spunky, loving, cuddly 8 year old dog. Dexter has a condition called cerebella hypoplasia . This affects his coordination and walking. He has the ability to use all of his legs however, he is unable to balance for long periods of time which results in a lot of rolling around. In spite of this he has the best spirit out of any dog I have ever been around. He knows his name when you call him, he can fetch (it may take him a little longer than other dogs to bring the ball back to you), and he is potty trained in doors. Dexter doesn't do a lot of walking on his own so he needs help to get to food, water, and to bring outside to go to the bathroom. Although he knows not to potty inside I use a diaper for him just in case for accidents. I know all of this sounds intimidating but he truly is the most loveable dog you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. This is not something I ever wanted to do but I currently do not have a choice.

He was in desperate need of a dental and he had a cherry eye. He has settled into his home and we are happy to report surgery is behind him now and he had 18 teeth removed and his cherry eye fixed! He's feeling like a new man! Dustin is a shy little fella and will require a slow warm up to new people. He is dog friendly and would prefer for his family to be home a little more often than not. He promises to be your forever shadow! Dustin will require regular grooming and upkeep of his coat as it grows back in. He will need to establish a trusted relationship with a groomer, as he's not a huge fan of scissors around his face.
