We've had him since he was seven weeks old. It breaks our hearts to give him away, but he's such a good dog. He listens, is house-trained, loves walks and fetch, even though he's an old dog. He still acts like a puppy and loves kids. I think he happy to see someone his size.

I acquired Dexter from a friend. He is a spunky, loving, cuddly 8 year old dog. Dexter has a condition called cerebella hypoplasia . This affects his coordination and walking. He has the ability to use all of his legs however, he is unable to balance for long periods of time which results in a lot of rolling around. In spite of this he has the best spirit out of any dog I have ever been around. He knows his name when you call him, he can fetch (it may take him a little longer than other dogs to bring the ball back to you), and he is potty trained in doors. Dexter doesn't do a lot of walking on his own so he needs help to get to food, water, and to bring outside to go to the bathroom. Although he knows not to potty inside I use a diaper for him just in case for accidents. I know all of this sounds intimidating but he truly is the most loveable dog you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. This is not something I ever wanted to do but I currently do not have a choice.

This is Bonnie, and she’s the sweetest little thing. She just loves being held close. When we first brought her home, we had no idea she was completely blind. It was a tough journey trying to train her while we both worked. Now, as first-time parents, it’s become even more challenging to give her the care she truly needs. We don’t have the time to devote to her like she deserves. We love her so much, but we don’t want to keep her for selfish reasons. Bentley has been in our family for the past 2 years, he has brought me and my 2 adolescent children a lot of joy. However, we are moving to a new home and sadly we cannot bring him with us. Bentley is a very fun and loving dog. I will honestly state that Bentley does require a lot of redirection due to his overly energetic personality at times. I would recommend someone adopt Bentley that can handle an energetic dog and who is willing to train and guide him. He will be a great addition to any family, he's always super excited to see anyone. As with any dog he loves attention, toys, and loves when guests come over. He also has a soft side where he likes to lay down next to you and just snuggle. I would prefer for him to be with an owner who has had pets in the past. It should also be noted that Bentley does not have much experience interacting with other pets specifically dogs and cats.

He was in desperate need of a dental and he had a cherry eye. He has settled into his home and we are happy to report surgery is behind him now and he had 18 teeth removed and his cherry eye fixed! He's feeling like a new man! Dustin is a shy little fella and will require a slow warm up to new people. He is dog friendly and would prefer for his family to be home a little more often than not. He promises to be your forever shadow! Dustin will require regular grooming and upkeep of his coat as it grows back in. He will need to establish a trusted relationship with a groomer, as he's not a huge fan of scissors around his face. Dustin's adoption fee is $350 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines/deworming/flea treatment and recent dental. Apply at www.lovebugsrescue.org
