Age:   approx 11 years old   Weight: 9  lbs My adoption fee is $ 100  which includes transportation charges to the Northeast. Rodger Dodger is the most precious loving boy ! He is a snuggler and an adventurer ! He is at a steady weight of 9-10 lbs but still skinny. When he came in he was under 4lbs !!!!!!! It took a while to get him up to a weight for neuter. He is an active playful boy. He is neutered , heartworm negative, utd on vaccines, and has had a dental Things to know: 1. We cant get his body fat to cover his hip bones yet but trying 2. When he had his dental they pulled his canines which caused oral fissures 3. He eats dry and can (can alone may get stuck in the holes in the roof of his mouth)   If you serious about adopting, the first step is to fill out an adoption application on our website:   https://www.smalldogrescuene.org/April 13, 2025, 5:45 pm

Story
Meet Toby! Toby is about a year old, 25 lbs, and he may have some Manchester Terrier or Min Pin in his mix! Toby was pulled from a high-kill shelter. In his foster home, he is doing great with his house-training, crate training and leash walking. He could go to a home with older dog-savvy kids and other dogs that are not too big of players. He chases outdoor cats but is playful with indoor cats. His foster says, `Toby is a sweet, but sensitive little fellow. His early life was not great. Finding yourself on death row as a puppy must have been a little traumatic for him. He takes a little time to warm up to new people, new dogs, and a ne environment. Patience and understanding brings out the best in him.`He is available for adoption in Medway, MA by appointment. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
I’m Pinchy, a 4-year-old, 10-pound Miniature Pinscher. My Southern rescuer says that I’m her favorite out of all the dogs that came in from a hoarding situation! I was living in less-than-ideal conditions there – there were over 70 dogs on the property. But despite that rough start, I am social, confident, and spunky. I love affection and being doted on, and I’m friendly with everyone. I'm underweight at the moment due to my inadequate care, so I will need some building up -- but despite my ordeal, I am so loving. I am looking for an adult-only home right now because I have not had experiences with children yet. Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and someone will get right back to you. Available 3/25/25.

Story
Meet Wednesday – The Tiny, Elegant, and Slightly Mysterious Lady! If you've been looking for a graceful, long-legged supermodel (but, you know, in dog form), then Wednesday is your girl! This 5-year-old Min Pin/Italian Greyhound mix weighs just 9.5 pounds, but trust us, most of that is legs—she’s basically a four-legged ballerina. 🌸 Delicate & Sweet: Wednesday is gentle, timid, and borderline fragile, so she’s looking for a home that understands her dainty princess energy. She’s great with other dogs, likely fine with cats, and does well with gentle kiddos who won’t mistake her for a squeaky toy. Wednesday is very wily and wiggly! 💧 Hydration Queen: Wednesday takes daily eye drops for her Diabetes Insipidus. It's a compounded medication that costs about $100/month. As a result of her condition, she drinks a LOT of water and, well… pees often. Think of her as your adorable little hydration reminder—she’s staying hydrated, are you? Just give her access to water and potty breaks. 👑 Quiet, Calm, and Classy: She’s not here for chaos—no barking marathons or zoomie sprints. Wednesday prefers a peaceful, cozy home where she can nap in soft blankets and keep her elegant presence known. If you’re looking for a tiny, sweet, and ridiculously charming companion, Wednesday is waiting to class up your home! Apply today and prepare to fall in love with this long-legged lady of leisure! If you are interested in finding out more about Wednesday, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Wednesday is being fostered in Shrewsbury, MA. The adoption fee is $400. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Story
Meet Lexi – your new favorite little weirdo 🐾💕 This 2-year-old, 25-pound Miniature Pinscher mix is a certified goofball with Oscar-worthy vocal range. Seriously. Lexi moans, groans, and grumbles when you give her side rubs. It’s like living with a pint-sized diva who just wants you to keep scratching and never stop. 🎭 She’s friendly, fun, and rode like a total pro in her foster mom’s car—no complaints, just good vibes and curiosity. She’s still settling into her new surroundings, so her food preferences are a little TBD (we suspect she’s just holding out for the gourmet stuff—can you blame her?). 🥩👀 Lexi is house-trained, quiet in the home, and generally unbothered by other dogs—even the foster dog who tried to crash her bone party (rude). She did let out a little growl, but it was more “excuse me, this is my snack” than “call security.” She hasn’t been to the dog park yet (just spayed on the 8th so no roughhousing allowed), but she’s got plenty of energy to unleash in the yard and lots of curiosity for the world. She’s still figuring out the whole “leash walking” thing, but she’s smart, eager, and ready to learn… especially if belly rubs are part of the reward system. 🐕✨ If you’re looking for a hilarious, affectionate little oddball who wants nothing more than your attention, your love, and maybe your couch—Lexi’s your girl. Adopt her and get a dog with personality, pizzazz, and a soundboard of emotions. 🎤💃 Let’s get Lexi into her forever home before she releases a full album of side-rub groans. If you are interested in finding out more about Lexi, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Lexi is being fostered in Arlington, MA.
