Story
Hi everyone! My name is Butterscotch and my foster mom says I am a little wiggle butt chew enthusiast! Foster mom says she swears I was a circus dog in my past life, as I can dance on my back legs for quite a long time, all while wagging my tail so much my butt wags with me. This is especially true when you come home and I greet you. I love to munch on things, so be sure to have plenty of fun chew toys on hand. With some supervision and the right toys, I will be happily occupied and leave your shoes alone. I am a loveable pup who just needs some guidance so I can bring tons of joy and tail wags to my new family. I am mostly potty trained (95%) and love running in the yard, especially with a companion of the four legged kind. I would do best in a home that has a fenced in yard and another dog to continue to teach me the ropes and help keep me occupied when you have to do things like work. If you think you could be my new family, fill out an application and you and my foster momma can talk! Hoping to love up on a new family soon! Love, Butterscotch Butterscotch is a 3 year old mini poodle who is UTD on vaccines, dental and has been spayed. She is located in the Berks County area and is looking for a home within a 2-3 hour radius.

Story
Life has gotten so much better for 3 little poodles that were rescued in February and it’s only going to get better as they look forward to becoming cherished family members in their new forever homes. Tina, whose date of birth is 4/23/18, was listed as a red poodle on her papers. Tina is a very social little girl and is the first one to run up and ask to be picked up. Even though all 3 had ear mites, Tina’s case was the worst. The ear mites were cleared up which helped these babies feel so much more comfortable. After being brought up to date on vaccinations all three were given a much-needed grooming. Their coats were so matted, the groomer had to shave them pretty close, but this also seemed to make them feel better. Our groomer sent us a before and after picture which is shared with you in Tina’s pictures. Tina had a dental on 3/5/25 and had to have 4 teeth removed. She had a spay and hernia repair on 3/11/25. On 2/25 she weighed 10.6 pounds and needs to lose a pound or so. She is up to date on vaccinations, is heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea and tick prevention to maintain her good health. Tina’s adoption donation is $665 which includes the $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt this little treasure, who is being fostered in Arkansas, and give her the kind of life she so richly deserves, the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Life has gotten so much better for 3 little poodles that were rescued in February and it’s only going to get better as they look forward to becoming cherished family members in their new forever homes. Hazel, whose date of birth is 11/17/18, was listed as a red poodle on her papers. She is incredibly sweet but has been somewhat timid and is slowly learning to trust. Her ear mites are cleared up and after being brought up to date on vaccinations, she had a much-needed grooming. Her groomer sent us a before and after picture of her, and remarked that Hazel was so timid she wouldn’t look at her initially but after the groom it was like Hazel thought, you made me feel so much better, you may be someone I can trust and looked at her. Hazel was spayed and had a hernia repair as well, which we had not been aware of, and a dental on 3/6/25. On 2/25/25 she weighed 8.9 pounds. Hazel is heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea and tick prevention to maintain her good health. Due to her small size, Hazel will only be considered for homes with older children. Hazel’s adoption donation is $665 which includes the $165 transport fee. Story
Brother to Reno and Zac. Hi, I’m Fido.  Having had little socialization with people, I am timid, shy and skittish.  Having been surrendered by a breeder and little socialization, I’m longing for a family to trust. My shyness/skittishness can be corrected with time.  Exposing me slowly to new things, sharing your home, providing positive reinforcement and praise will help me bond to you for life. I’m 2 years old and about 20#, I’m Very dog friendly, only hesitant to people. Running, playing with other dogs or toys, are all things I’ve learned while in rescue. I’ve been making progress and am slowly coming around, being around doggie friends helps me a lot.   Do  to my shyness, a 4 ft fenced in yard will be required to adopt me. Sorry, no kids since I am still fearful and fast motions may cause me to bolt.   Did you know, we poodles are athletic, agile, very intelligent and “Hyper Allergenic”? Yes, that’s what I hear. Just look into my deep dark eyes and tell me you don’t see my hope for the future, hope for a family, hope of better things to come. I’m Fido, a little boy yearning to share “The Best of Times”, with YOU!  To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. Even tempered, playful, eager to please and gentle, but having had little socialization with people, I am also timid, shy and skittish. My name is Zac. Hebrew in origan, Zac means “The Lord has Remembered” or “God’s Gift”! Having been surrendered by a breeder and little socialization, I’m longing for a family to trust. My shyness/skittishness can be corrected with time.  Exposing me slowly to new things, sharing your home, providing positive reinforcement and praise will help me bond to you for life. Then, I will be “God’s Gift” to you. At 1 year old and about 20#, I’m Very dog friendly, only hesitant to people and NEVER Aggressive. Running, playing ball, other dogs or with toys, are all things I’ve learned while in rescue. I’ve shown eagerness to please, an even temperament, and affectionate once I trust your touch. Due to my shyness, a 4 ft fenced in yard will be required to adopt me. Sorry, no kids since I am still fearful of fast motions may cause me to bolt.   Did you know, we poodles athletic, agile, very intelligent and “Hyper Allergenic”? Yes, that’s what I hear. Story
Retired from a life of breeding, I’m Olive a 6 year, 20# Golden Doodle that’s ready to “JUMP INTO YOUR LIFE”. Did I say “Jump”? Well, could be spring, hurdle, leap or propel into the air just saying I need at least a “5” foot fence to keep my safe. Yes, my legs are “SPRING BOARDS”! Otherwise, I’m a lover, cuddler and want to be the BEST LITTLE GAL in my new Furever Fam. Most other dogs are fine, I just get bossy at times. You know, after being the boss to my pups for years..  PEOPLE are GREAT as I’m Very Friendly and loving wanting to snuggle, cuddle and get love and treats for the rest of my days. My soft silky coat, deep dark eyes glare at you ready to give/take love and affection I’ve longed for. Have heard from other Molly’s Place Dogs that my life is about to change for the BEST Years. Sure hope it’s true and I’m ready to put my BEST PAW Forward and have a life/home of my own getting spoiled, pampered and TREATS non ending! Olive is ready to begin a new chapter of life, with you!    To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Story
Brother to Fido and Zac. Surrendered by a breeder, I find myself unsure of people, yet longing to be loved.  I’m Reno, a 1 yr old PURE BREED MINI POODLE Boy, weighing about 20 #, who is uncertain of the outside world. Having lived most of my first year with little human socialization, I’m shy, timid, reserved and skittish to people and situations. ( NOT Aggressive ). On the “FLIP SIDE” I LOVE other dogs, am gentle, good natured and playful! My fear CAN BE CORRECTED with your love, understanding and time. Poodles are known to be very intelligent. I’m no acceptation. Do you know what else is GREAT about us poodles? You guessed it. We are HYPER ALLERGENIC. Although I’m smart, I have no idea what HYPER ALLERGENIC means, but guess it’s a good thing to be! Living in a kennel environment at my rescue, I still have a few things to learn about being a dog, but with your help, I’m sure this won’t take long. Just having consistent care givers I’m already learning to give and take love here. Being VERY DOG FRIENDLY, another dog would be best in my new home, but not required. Sorry, no kids due to my skittishness, for my safety. NO issues with aggression, just safety.  I do require a 4 ft fenced yard due to my fear, shyness just for my safety as well. So, what ya think? Do you want to take a “GAMBLE”, “Roll the Dice”, and “HIT the JACKPOT”! I’m “Betting” RENO won’t last long! To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org.
