Story
Lola is a very loving girl. At just 7 months old, she is the perfect age for training. Stuffed toys are her absolute favorite and she even shares with her playmates. Lola came to us with four other litter mates. They were abandoned in Arkansas and found by a sweet senior citizen who shared this location received several abandoned dogs regularly.   She is the last remaining pup available in the litter. Currently she's in an Arkansas home being fostered. Transport is available to New England. The foster mom has grand kids who visit her often, so Lola has been around the children and does quite well. She is a low-shedder.   She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, Lola is fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, all core vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $550 and that does cover transport. ##2333750##

Story
Meet Reggie, a Miniature Poodle who was dumped on the streets to fend for himself. He was so scared to approach people that we had to trap him. His coat was so mangled and covered with cling ons that we had to shave him down completely and there was a beautiful dog under there! (before pics available on request) He's a sweet little boy but gets very nervous when strangers come in the house. He is best to be with an older couple and no small children in the house. He's very snuggly and lovable, just doesn't like a lot of commotion. Our vet estimated him to be around 4 -5 years. We had his teeth cleaned and polished as he had the beginning of tartar build up, more than likely due to a poor diet. He is neutered, heart worm negative, vaccinated, crate trained and microchipped. Reggie is more than ready for his forever home, could that be you? Reggie is ready for immediate transport PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE: $600

Story
Adoption Donation   $ 299 Located:  New England (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details) Age: approx    10  years old Weight: 12  lbs Meet Roslyn! This beautiful girl came to us after being found matted, stray, and crying in Mississippi. A kind hearted animal control officer notified one of our awesome southern rescuers who took her in, got her the vet care she needed including a consult with an ophthalmologist, and Roslyn is now in a New England foster home while she waits to be discovered by a family of her own. We think she's around 10 and there's a lot to love about Roslyn! She's a mild-mannered, gentle, loving, affectionate girl who gets along beautifully with other animals. Roslyn is able to walk slowly on a leash and loves her treats, lap time, and giving and receiving affection. She's generous with her kisses and loves to be close to her person. She settles in nicely to new routines and follows voice commands with ease. She loves to eat and is an incorrigible beggar! She always, always knows when her foster mom is in the kitchen and trots on in looking for treats. Roslyn is blind, and has mature cataracts, luxating lenses, and she's been diagnosed with uveitis which is an eye inflammation that hopefully will resolve nicely with eyedrops that she's been prescribed. We're also using over-the-counter eyedrops to keep her eyes moist and she doesn't appear uncomfortable. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots, and doesn't have any other health issues that we know of.  Roslyn would be a wonderful choice for a quiet home where she's going to get plenty of love and attention. She's going to need routine grooming and daily over-the-counter eyedrops, and a little time to get to know the lay of the land in a new environment. She's such a nice dog! And so deserving of a loving family of her own.  If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:  mkclark@comcast.net Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in.
