Story
This girl was found as a stray and her owners refused to come pick her up so she is in search of another home. She is a sweet lady, a bit shy, but friendly. She is out of any puppy energy phase but does still like to play and she does get the zoomies. She was house-trained so would need to relearn it. She does well in a car and is okay on a leash. She does not get along with smaller dogs and probably not a fan of cats. She will need time to warm up to a person but is just a sweetheart when she knows you! She would be wonderful as a walking companion and lounge buddy. She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
Chaplin is a delightful dog born 12/8/23 Chaplin is a bundle of joy with a friendly demeanor and a playful spirit. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations, neutered, and receives regular flea and tick treatment. Chaplin’s his grin is the best! He thrives on companionship and is known for his affectionate, cuddly nature. He enjoys spending time with both his canine foster siblings and human friends. Although he can be a bit nervous about being completely alone, he does well when surrounded by other pets and would fit comfortably into a home with either kids or a fur sibling. Chaplin loves to play with squeaky toys and bones, and his curiosity extends to exploring new people and environments. He has shown he’s adaptable, though he prefers to avoid super loud noises. Ideal for families looking for a sweet, adaptable pup, Chaplin is friendly with other dogs, loves to cuddle, and enjoys making new friends during walks and outings. Chaplin's joyful personality and playful energy make him a wonderful addition to any loving home. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion, Chaplin could be the perfect fit for you! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $550 plus taxI am headed to MARS 1/11/25. Watch for updates about me from my foster home.I'm so very pleased to meet you!  I'm good with kids and love other dogs. I like to spend my days busying myself with toys and doggie chewies.  I like to stay active too by running and playing in the yard.  However, I usually fit a few naps into my day as well.  After all, who doesn't like a nap?  I'm learning what potty pads are and that I really should go outside to do my dirty business but it takes time to establish those habits.  I love to cuddle with my humans too. I'm searching for a fabulous forever home to share my life and love with! Do you want a great friend to join your family?  Well, adopt me and let's start making lasting memories together!  * Puppies under 5 months should not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time to help them with potty training and socialization.   If you have previously applied with us please email adoptionatmars@gmail.com to reactivate your application with new interest.Photo Credit Jay Ravichandran/@jaysviewfinderrVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called 'cute' as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.  *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. //

Story
I’m Nutella and am from Alabama. My foster momma says I should dream big because I deserve my biggest dream. So here it goes. My wish is to find my forever home. A home that is going to love me unconditionally for all that I am. See I only have three legs. After I was hit by a car in 2023 the doctors did everything they could to save my leg however the best thing for me was to amputate in April 2023. I’ve had to adjust lots since then however I’m a Warrior! These amazing humans from Warrior Dog Rescue brought me to Minnesota where more amazing humans brought me into their home, have shown me so much love, and taken care of me while I continue to heal. They have taken me to a special dog therapy doctor. I have a special bed I lay on every day that is really helping me feel better. I also take some really good medication that helps me feel better too. Our goal is to one day not need all of them. We are working on my walking. I can walk about five minutes and then I need to be done but each week I can another 5 minutes and see how I do. I do get pretty sore but we are confident in time I’ll be able to walk longer. It’s hard to keep me down :) I’m in what the humans call my adolescence stage. Where I can be a little stubborn and sassy. I need a family that will understand my breed and need for at times to have some space and make me take “breaks” as my foster mom calls them. See sometimes I don’t know what’s best for me and I need to take a break. I dream of a home that will have a fenced in yard to keep me safe. As much as I like to play with the dogs I live with (4 of them), I might like being the only dog or one that doesn’t mind me stealing the bones and toys and doesn’t react. I really like the resident cat and we play often. My other dream would be to have a home where they continue to help me on my healing journey and a home without a lot of stairs. My foster mom says I’m the best snuggler and have the softest ears. She giggles when they bounce when I bark. I love snuggling in bed and enjoy the little massages I get. I do really well in my kennel when they leave for work or when they leave me out. I also like to chew on bones and balls. I also like when my foster momma puts out puzzles for me to play with, it keeps my mind busy and really enjoy the treats that are in them. I can’t wait to be able to run in the yard and chase after the ball like I used to. I also love to be outside and find the treasures I bring outside and chew on sticks. I really like being on the boat in the summer. Foster momma also says there are so many things to love about me it’s hard to put in words. Would you consider making my dream come true? --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ATTENTION: Now accepting best friend applications! Meet Zippo (my foster family calls me Zane), a Mountain Cur mix full of energy and puppy charm! This playful pup loves his four legged foster sister (a 60 lb lab), chasing balls, cuddling, playing with toys and learning new tricks. Zippo is good with dogs and children. He’s busy working on potty training and making progress each day. He’s a typical puppy with a perfect blend of cuteness and playful spunk; he’s sure to keep you smiling. He can be vocal when he plays or is impatient so no shared walls. Zippo would thrive with an individual, couple or family and is ready to shower you with unconditional love.  **He will be ready for his forever home the first week in February Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal?
