Story
Lala is a four year old sweet, loving dog who thrives in the company of adults. She enjoys snuggling, taking walks, and chasing her favorite ball. Lala has completed beginner and intermediate levels of local dog training classes. Lala is an anxious dog who needs a calm and predictable environment to feel secure. While she has many wonderful qualities, she cannot be placed in a home with young children. She has bitten a 5-year-old child and has displayed resource-guarding behavior around children and dogs. Lala currently lives with three cats and does well around them. While she is okay with other dogs, she would prefer to be the only dog in the household, as she can feel nervous and stressed around other dogs. She would love a home with some land to explore but is equally content with short walks. Lala is low-maintenance and thrives on attention and affection from her human companions. Her ideal home is one where she can form a deep bond with her owner.

I found Dixie on the side of the road and took her in. She is a sweet girl who loves attention. Dixie seems to have been a hunting dog in her last home but we are unsure. She needs someone will the time, energy, and patience to train her. Given the right time and energy she will make the best friend you could ask for!

Story
Turner is very sweet but can be reactive at times with other dogs and people. We have a baby coming in February and I’m feeling nervous about him interacting with a newborn. Ideally, we would rehome him just to eliminate the risk altogether. If you or anyone you know would be open to adopting a sweet dog, let me tell you more about him! He’s a 3 year old male pit/lab mix. He’s 75 pounds but loves to cuddle up right next to you, responds pretty well to treats, and loves looking out the window. For 98% of the time, he’s super sweet and easy. We’ve worked with a trainer to help with commands, but he’s pretty protective of his people. 2% of the time, he finds dogs that he just doesn’t like and wants to bark at them. And he’s good around people unless he feels threatened or they get in his space.

Story
This is Lio. He was adopted in November by my father from the local shelter in Florida -- Lio had been tied to a light post and left abandoned. My father had personal issues come up and is no longer able to take care of the dog. I am fostering him until he can find his forever home. I've been around dogs my whole life, and Lio is one of the sweetest dogs I've come across. He's full of love and is very playful. He does really well with other dogs and is very kid-friendly. Estimate is 3yrs old by the shelter, but he has a lot of puppy playfulness. He is house-trained. He is very skittish at first when meeting new people/dogs or going to new places. But once he warms up he is the life of the party. He loves to cuddle and show affection. Not aggressive at all. Rarely barks. Up to date with vaccinations, chipped and is neutered. Knows basic commands like sit. No adoption fee. I just want to find him the perfect forever home.
