Story
I found Sammie walking down the road. Got her microchip scanned and spoke with her owner. Originally she was well taken care of but about a year ago unfortunately ended up living outside chained up. I am taking car of her until I can find her a home, we cannot keep her. She is a GREAT dog! 8.5 years old, super friendly and sweet, just wants to cuddle with her humans. She is house broken and up to date on shots. Walks great on a leash, very well behaved.

Kush is great with kids and dogs.Has a lot of energy and loves to go out for long walks and fetch. He loves to cuddle and is a great shadow. Kush is a great inside dog that will provide comfort and companionship. I am relocating outside of Georgia and cannot bring him with me. This is very sad for me and I want to rehome him with a great lifetime owner. I adopted him from Fulton County Shelter in December 2021. I will supply starter food, bowls, collars, toothbrushes, brushes, nail clippers, shampoo, conditioner, mat, toys, and puzzles.

Penny

Mutt

Female, Adult
Charlotte, NC
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Penny is an affectionate and loyal companion who loves playing fetch, going on walks, enjoying treats, and, of course, curling up for a good nap. Unfortunately, due to a recent divorce, I can no longer provide her with the time, care, and attention she deserves. My long work hours make it difficult to give her the consistency she needs. Penny is highly trainable but would thrive with someone who can dedicate time to her development. She is reactive to other dogs but has never shown aggression or bitten another dog or person. With patience and the right guidance, I believe she can improve. I am committed to finding Penny the perfect home—one where she will receive the love, exercise, and structure she needs to thrive. If you’re interested in giving Penny the forever home she deserves, please reach out. She’s a truly wonderful companion just waiting for the right person!

Kozy

Mutt

Female, Adult
Charlotte, NC
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Kozy is a very sweet, quiet, and gentle girl that is approximately 5 years old. I believe she was found as a stray. The Humane Society didn’t have much information on her. She has anxiety and is currently on medication. She is currently under the care of Southeast Animal Behavior and she’s doing much better now. Kozy should be in a home with an experienced dog owner who works from home or is retired. She should not be in an apartment setting since her anxiety issues were triggered by loud neighbors. Kozy is very good with people and older kids but it can take her a moment to warm up. If there is another dog in the home they should be about the same temperament since she’s not really into playing for very long and it takes her a moment to warm up to other dogs. She is a couch potato type of dog who rarely barks. She enjoys belly rubs and just being around her person. Will provide 90 day supply of food and 60 day supply of medication which is pretty affordable through Walmart.

Story
Sage belonged to my sister she dropped her off with me about 2 weeks ago but I can't afford to take care of her. Sage is believed to be around 4 or 5 years old and I'm not sure if her shots are up to date. Sage is very friendly and playful she does need space to run and play, she's never been agredmssive towards anyone or any other pet. She does have an issue with here ears they both puffy and she has what appears to be a cyst on her right back leg. If you would like to know know more feel free to contact me
