Story
Lucky is a sweet gentle boy. He loves to play fetch or chase any toy you would throw for him. He wants all the cuddles and pets in the world! Lucky is the best with kids he has experience with newborn on. We are unfortunately unable to keep. My partner lost his job so have to move to a cheaper place that does not allow dogs. We have had Lucky about a year he was abandoned in our friends care we are unaware of his history before that. It breaks our hearts to let him go. We hope to find him a loving and active family.

Story
Sophie loves to do tricks for treats, lick away tears, play pull, go on driving/adventures (just not camping), and will spend most of her day laying in the sun. I got Sophie from the shelter in 2019. She was shy/anxious, but after gaining trust, she turned into this happy girl giving me kisses. She's still the same. Her anxiety manifests as barking towards strangers/sounds (inside and outside of home). She's on anti-anxiety medication, but it's something you have to manage with consistent training/behavior mods. There's been nothing close to biting, although she makes it clear she doesn't like you to hold her paws and she's terrified of the vet (may need a muzzle for certain procedures). There have been periods she was able to do puppy classes and dog parks well, but it takes patience and consistency, and we have become caretakers for sick parents (so can't do that). She has so much love to give, and we love her so much, but we have too much to manage and we want her to be happy

Story
I have had Trixie for seven years. I adopted her when a roommate took her in as a foster dog. She had been removed from an abusive household. She will be approximately 8 years old in April 2025. Her shots are current but will need to be renewed in July of this year. I have some paperwork about her background and vaccinations. She likes to chase toys but then likes to play keep-away when she gets them. She's playful and loves hugs and belly rubs. She is very shy and anxious and it takes her some time to warm up to new people. Occasionally she meets someone she like immediately and sometime she dislikes them immediately. She is afraid of children and prefers men to women. She has lived with other dogs and cats in the house and gets along with them well though she tends to be bossy. I love her so much but I'm terminally ill and need to find her a new home very soon. My heart is breaking.

Story
Frank is an active old boy who's love for hiking is only matches for his love of food. He's a great dog for people who like to lounge at home, but also enjoy the occasional adventure. When home he loves nothing more than to cuddle up under a blanket on your lap. He likes to go a play with other dogs, but ultimately is best in a one dog home due to his resource guarding. He's loyal, knows basic tricks, and is perfect for someone who wants buddy to hit some trails but can also settle down for a nice nap.

Story
Meet Stewie – A Loyal, Loving Dog Looking for the Right Home Stewie is a wonderful, affectionate, and intelligent dog who has been a beloved member of our family since we adopted him as a four-month-old puppy from a rescue in 2020. Now five years old, Stewie is full of life—he’s playful, goofy, and eager to please. He loves being around his people and would thrive in a home where he has space to run and an owner who understands his sensitivities. Stewie is looking for a kid-free home where he can feel safe and comfortable. While he is an incredibly loving companion, he can be reactive in certain situations and needs an experienced adopter who can provide structure, patience, and a calm environment. He does well with predictable routines and would love a home with a yard or open space to explore. This sweet boy is happiest when he’s with his person—whether that’s going for a hike, playing in the yard, or simply curling up nearby. He is loyal, fun-loving, and full of personality. Stew

Story
Karma is a 14yr old deaf female black Lab who’s in need of a loving and nurturing home. My sister and I took responsibility for her when our brother moved out of his apartment and into a small camper van. She has always been the kindest and most peaceful dog we’ve ever known so taking her in was the easiest yes ever. She does wonderful with other dogs, children, and cats. She does have some type of allergy that leads to her pulling her own hair out, so she lives day to day wearing a cone :( We have 4 cats of our own and then our sweet girl Karma, so it’s hard to pay for all the food, vet bills, and cleaning care that karma needs as we are a very low income household who’s trying our best to get by. We’ve had her for over a year in our care but with our busy work schedule she deserves to live feeling fulfilled. She is potty trained but does need to be taken out regularly as she is a senior dog. She still has puppy energy in her and we love to see her jump around in excitement.
