Story
This big boy is the sweetest, most loving dog I’ve ever met! It honestly breaks my heart that I am not in the position to keep him!! He is still kind of a puppy, but a pretty lazy one, he definitely needs a yard to be able to stress his long legs but he is not very hyper. Just has spurts of energy but then he’s done, he’s favorite pass time is snuggling on the couch! He’s super friendly with people, even good with kids and loves playing with all other dogs! He is crate trained and listens very well.

Story
**** Please read adoption information carefully!!!**** Zsa Zsa is a special little girl! She is beautiful, with just the most strikingly gorgeous bridle pattern. She is very curious, athletic, affectionate and loving. Zsa Zsa is outgoing and confident. She is a lap dog. When not playing or investigating the yard, she prefers to snuggle and curl up next to or on top of you. ? Zsa Zsa is a well-adjusted puppy who has been hand raised. She has never shown any signs of aggression of any kind, including food aggression. All of the puppies are fed together, and typically choose to share three or four bowls. Zsa Zsa is used to playing and sleeping with the other dogs on the property. She is well socialized, both with humans and dogs. While I have never seen her interact with a cat, I have no reason to anticipate a problem. ************************************ ADOPTION INFORMATION ************************************ I only adopt LOCALLY; San Diego and immediate vicinity. Story
Meet Dewey Decimal! Dewey entered Downey Shelter as an emaciated stray. When he wasn't claimed during his hold period, he quickly became at risk for euthanasia as a senior at an over-capacity shelter. Fortunately, we were able to rescue Dewey on December 10th. He has come so far since then! Dewey has developed a wonderful appetite, even eating a bonus meal, and is gaining some much-needed weight. Dewey is blossoming in other ways, too! After clearly being on his own for quite a while, Dewey didn't seek out attention and kept to himself. Now, he welcomes ear scratches and gentle pets. Dewey enjoys going on our weekly group hikes, and he is a fun walking buddy! Though Dewey is a bit stiff, as you can see in the video, he keeps on truckin' and loves sniffing on the trails. He has great leash manners - doesn't pull and stays calm around passing dogs, big and small. Stop by to meet this sweet and gentle guy between 10 AM and 3 PM any day of the week!

She's looking for a home that can provide plenty of exercise, structure, and training to help her channel her enthusiasm. Jolene would thrive with adults or older children, as she's shown some herding tendencies with little ones. Having grown up with another dog in her previous home, she may gel with a canine companion, but proper introductions are crucial. If you have the time and commitment that Jolene needs, bring a leash and collar to meet her today! At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home! Primary Color: Merle Weight: 68 Age: 1yrs 1mths 4wks
