Bindi is a brindle beauty that weighs about 54 lbs and is 2.5 years old. Binda has not had any easy life. She was found back in December of 2023, abandoned in a baseball field in Houston with 2 other dogs. Somebody had locked all 3 dogs in the park, with no access to food, water or shelter for days. Animal control didn’t have room for them, and no rescues wanted to help the 3 dogs. A good Samaritan took all 3 dogs under her wing and put them in boarding, thinking she would find help for them, and never did. She reached out to us for help with the remaining 2 (1 she was able to rehome). The options now for the remaining 2 are to be surrendered to animal control, where it is more likely they will be euthanized. Bindi and Owen are the remaining 2 of 3. Bindi is more social than Owen, her friend is. She is very mellow but can be active and playful. She gets her zoomies and starts running all over the yard in pure excitement. Bindi gets quite bonded to her human. She would be a great dog for someone wanting a loyal companion, a shadow to follow them around. She loves to cuddle. One of her favorite activities is lying on the couch with her humans watching TV – and she WILL watch TV the whole time. She is very easily amused and entertained by what’s showing. She doesn’t have any favorite shows… yet. Bindi loves to go on walks and does great on her leash. She would make a fantastic partner to go on hikes or adventures with. She does wonderful with dogs who are not crazy hyper. Bindi is quite confident and would do well in a home with other dogs or alone, she doesn’t mind either way. She would be great with children. She is very food motivated and LOVES her treats. She will make sure you know if you’re late on a meal. Bindi is crate trained and does great on car rides. Bindi is spayed, heart worm negative, current on rabies vaccine, bordatella, and parvo distemper vaccine. She is also current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, dewormed, microchipped and will get a clean bill of health from the veterinarian prior to transport. Meet the "Stadium Puppies", born approx. June 1st, 2024 to a feral / stray mama (see last pic). You can read about me first, then hear about our whole litter at the bottom of the post. :) WRIGLEY - arriving in New York August 9th (approx. 10 weeks old on fly date) Hi everyone! I'm Wrigley, and I'm one of the "triplets" in this litter that looks a lot like my brothers Wembley and Lambeau because we have very similar fur and beautiful “masks” on our faces. However, it’s suspected that I also have shepherd in me because I’m developing these really cool “patches” of subtle red, fuzzy fur on my back. I'm one of the bigger puppies, at approx. 15 lbs as of Aug. 8th. I am the one who notifies the litter of anything new with a confident bark, but once I realize it's a person I know, I quickly turn into a wiggle butt and greet them warmly. I love our care team, and make sure I give them hugs and settle in when they cuddle me. Like my siblings, I'm doing really well with potty training and I also sleep in an open crate with them at night. My care team says I'm the first puppy to independantly wander off and discover new things, so they suspect I'll be very adaptable. Apply for me today! I'd love to have a family of my own. THE WHOLE LITTER STORY We were rescued from a sports stadium, where mama had taken us to be safe while she had birth and nursed us for approx. 6 -8 weeks. Our rescue team at PRDF has had us all since (and mama will be trapped and spayed), and are socializing us and taking care of our minor skin issues suffered while in the wild. We are a GREAT litter of puppies (there are 7 of us - 5 boys and 2 girls!) - we play, romp, cuddle like champs, and push our way in for our turn at cuddles with the volunteer team - and we cannot wait to meet our adoptive families. Looking to rehome my 4 year old boxer / pit mix Boone. Hes a beautiful sweet soul, both an old man and a young boy all at the same time. Hes very smart, always on the lookout and very keen of his surroundings. He loves swimming and being outside, loves to hike and run on trails. Hes well trained but could be even better with a bit of attention, very food motivated. Hes off leash regularly and obeys commands to come and stay, very focused on staying with the pack. He’s never bit any human or other dog ever. All to say, hes very well socialized, has spent much time with other little dogs like chihuahuas and frenchies, only gets nervous when another dog is much bigger than him, which is not often. My work is bringing me to Europe this year and my schedule is becoming too busy to raise him alone / passing him along to friends in between. Ideally he would be outdoor accessible.
