What’s worse then being abandoned and shun to the streets with your brother, having to not only fend for yourself, but fend for a litter of puppies and trying to keep them safe? Buster helped his sister keep her litter safe until we found them and brought them to safety. These two are a very bonded pair and we will only adopt them together, but what is better then one dog TWO of course. They just love to be loved on. They will need some basic training. Both are crate trained.

I had friends moving overseas, and needed to rehome their dogs. My sister had just lost her dogs and was excited to take Tide and her friend Fin.. But it began to be evident they were too much for her, frequently getting out, returning about 2 hours later. They are very affectionate, will sit on the couch with their heads on your knee, and were originally around an infant/toddler without any issues. They desperately need room to run and an active individual or family that can provide the activity level they need. My sister has had an acute decline in her health that keeps her from care for herself and the dogs. We seek an appropriate home to meet their needs and care.

Heather is a sweet dog that loves people and attention. She gets along with other calm dogs, but doesn't like young dogs that jump on her. She is recovering from some minor wounds that she got while she was on the run as a stray. Some of our dogs are adopted very quickly. Some confuse Savannah for a young doberman but she is a coonhound! Having a rough start, she has had her tail amputated and her wounds are healing. She has gone from being terrified of even having music playing or the tv playing while muted, to a confident and goofy girl. After just 5 minutes of playing with her toys, she is ready to crash on the couch and binge her person’s favorite shows. We are still working on leash walking and not jumping but she is eager to please and it shouldnt take too much for her to be easy to handle. She does well with cats, especially if they dont mind her. If they hiss or bat at her, she will get excited and bark at them. I have one declawed cat that doesnt mind her one bit and they can pass each other with no incidents. My girls are a little more opinionated and she gets excited. Well socialized, enjoying the cool mornings sniffing around the park or trotting along her husky friends. Her foster sister likes her space but Savannah listens to the social cues given, without incident.
